  1. She is getting a lot of positive press right now due to her solid debate/townhall performances. The twitter activist crowd seem to love her too. One of the most perplexing things about this race has been the hesitancy by many in the party to get behind her. They hate Bernie so much yet refuse to back the most competent person in the race. It's been frustrating to watch and has turned me off to this party even more. Establishment Dems would rather have a meek president than someone who would actually wield power.
  2. Republican voting thru Day 8: 2016: 256,981 2020: 255,386 Geez Republicans are running even w/ 2016 turnout.
  3. Are you a Democrat? If so, don't you want a Democrat choosing RBG's seat?
  4. Gayle King should never moderate another debate.
  5. Biden: I made Ebola! Then I stopped it!
  6. That life expectancy follow up from Gayle was a gottdamn setup question for Bloomberg. He knew it was coming and had the statistics ready.
  7. Here are NV turnout numbers from the last three Dem prez primaries. '08: 118k '16: 74k '20: 100k Only 4% of registered NV Democrats participated this year. 4%... These numbers do not inspire confidence considering NV had a week of early voting for the first time ever and the population of NV has increased by 500k since '08. What's going on here?
  8. Warren grew up in the church and was a Sunday School teacher. With South Carolina coming up, this might be a good time to start letting people know about this. The campaign is looking a little funny to me right now for not adding this to her profile. For some reason she seems to still be trying to fight Bernie for the left. I've always felt that the clearer path for her was as a center-left candidate. Speak about your Christian upbringing and get these old black mamas on your side!
  9. Is this answer acceptable from somebody who's been running for president for 5 years and fighting for m4a for forty years? Ugh...
  10. Cool, my younger brother is standing behind Bernie.
  11. A lot of freaking out on the Sunday morning shows about down ballot Dems. Is there any proof that conservative Democratic and Independent voters that are uncomfortable with Bernie will go in the voter booth and vote House/Senate Dems out simply because Bernie is on top of the ticket or are they thinking that Bernie depresses them to not even show up to vote?
  12. I really do wonder the motivations of the union leaders to go against the interests of their own workers. I'm not familiar, do they get some kickbacks for maintaining the status quo?
  13. Hopefully your brain tells you something else.
  14. Ok now I'm going down the well of old Obama videos on Youtube. There's a permanent stain on this country (white people) for choosing the pig in the WH to follow this.
  15. With his organizational chops and fundraising ability I wish Pete had won that DNC race instead of the lame Perez. Did anybody here follow that race closely? I'm curious if Pete was ever considered a formidable contender.
  16. I'm going to open a bottle of wine the day Moscow Mitch croaks. He's Trump's firewall and the main one I blame for all of this.
  17. So now Warren is smug? The sexism is dripping from your keyboards.
  18. So if not Wisconsin, what state is going to hold him accountable for the tariff debacle or is he going to get pass for that too.
  19. New Quinnipac state polls: Wisconsin loves Trump. I'm not sure what happened to the Democratic party in that state.
  20. Oh for the love of God, have we forgotten 2016 already?? https://www.nytimes.com/2016/06/06/us/politics/bernie-sanders-hillary-clinton-california-primary.html WEST HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Senator Bernie Sanders defiantly vowed again on Sunday to take his campaign to the Democratic National Convention this summer, even as Hillary Clinton edged closer to clinching the party’s presidential nomination and the final primary contests drew near. Two days before Tuesday’s primaries in California and five other states, Mr. Sanders repeated his pledge not to concede even if Mrs. Clinton acquires enough delegates to reach 2,383, the threshold for securing the nomination. When Mr. Sanders, who greeted fans in West Hollywood, was asked by reporters if he remained committed to pushing for a contested convention, he said he “absolutely” was. A convention is typically seen as contested when a candidate cannot reach the necessary delegate count using both pledged delegates and superdelegates. In 2008, Mrs. Clinton conceded to Barack Obama shortly after the final primary and before the convention. But Mr. Sanders is promising to break with tradition and extend his fight further than initially expected. “It is extremely unlikely that Secretary Clinton will have the requisite number of pledged delegates to claim victory on Tuesday night,” Mr. Sanders said. “Now, I have heard reports that Secretary Clinton has said it’s all going to be over on Tuesday night. I have reports that the media, after the New Jersey results come in, are going to declare that it is all over. That simply is not accurate.”
  21. This is an all-time debate performance from Warren. What's wrong with that statement?
