  3. Former U.S. President George W. Bush was surprised to learn that he was served dinner with Putin years ago by Yevgeny Prigozhin, The Washington Post reports. During the conference, Bush was asked if he was shocked to learn of Prigozhin's recent death in a plane crash. "No," Bush replied. "What shocks me is that I recently saw a picture of the G8 summit in St. Petersburg where he was the guy who served me food. He was Putin's chef." The 43rd US president added that he did not remember the details of the meeting with Prigozhin, but joked, "All I know is that I survived."
  4. The default "share" link on Twitter is now x.com, which doesn't embed. You can still copy the URL if you're in a browser. Otherwise, you'll have to manually change the link from "x" to "twitter". @immamac any hope for being able to embed x.com or threads soon?

  6. Russian media report that Kadyrov, worried and frightened by a sudden worsening of his health condition, accused his personal doctor, Elkhan Suleimanov, who also served as deputy prime minister, of trying to poison him. The doctor disappeared without a trace from October 2022, and then, according to several sources, he was removed from all posts, brutally murdered and buried alive. Suleymanov's last Instagram post is dated October 2022, despite the fact that he used to update his profile almost daily. He was also not seen for a long time either in Moscow educational institutions, which he often visited, or in Chechnya. Noticeably, his Instagram page shows a link to the website of the Chechen Republican Oncological Dispensary, which was his main project. However, the source claims that this site now sells cocaine in Dubai. Suleymanov was an extraordinary figure in Kadyrov's entourage - he was a Lezgin, not a Chechen, and had an impressive professional record in medicine. His abrupt disappearance and mysterious death raise many questions
  7. It's time. "They are coming," said one official who had access to security assistance plans. The official noted that, as always, such plans are subject to change until officially announced. A second official said the missiles are "on the table" and likely to be included in an upcoming security assistance package, adding that a final decision has not been made. It could be months before Ukraine receives the missiles, according to the official.

  11. During our call, @Netanyahu and I discussed how to ensure that the visa-free functions fully for Ukrainian citizens, as well as how to secure the safety of Hasidic Jews on their yearly pilgrimage to Uman. Ukraine has always warmly welcomed pilgrims and took responsibility for their safety. Given the threat of Russian missiles and Iranian drones, this year’s pilgrimage comes with high security risks. Our bomb shelters have a capacity for around 11 thousand people. Swift joint action is required to ensure the safety of more people. We also discussed ways for Israel to support Ukraine in countering Russian aggression, as well as the international cooperation between our states.
