I wonder what this "system" is: But the most dangerous thing here is that the Ukrainians..." 6/ "...were able to establish a system for detecting and destroying our fixed-wing drones. Building such a system is the key to successful (interceptor drone) application. Without it, an FPV drone will not find a target at an altitude of several thousand meters."- Русский корабль - иди нахуй

Interview with the commander of the Bradley from that video where the Bradley and BTR pass by each other and the BTR is destroyed. From the commander of the Bradley in the video, Viktor "praised the Bradley’s armor and the training he received from U.S. troops in Germany this year. He singled out the vehicle’s armaments, including guided missiles and its 25mm cannon, which can fire armor-piercing rounds about the size of a hot dog." https://www.washingtonpost.com/national-security/2024/06/12/ukraine-bradley-fighting-vehicles-combat-video/- Русский корабль - иди нахуй
The Kh-101 missiles that Russia launched yesterday at Ukraine were modified that even when they are shot down, cluster munitions fall out and hit the target over a large area — Defense Express military expert Ivan Kyrychevskyi. According to the expert, if the warhead did not explode after the missile was shot down, it was believed that the target would no longer pose a threat, but now it can cause damage even after being shot down, because cluster submunitions fall out of it: "This also explains the paradox that everything was shot down, but then the wreckage caused a lot of damage because the debris had cluster munitions." This is what Russia uses to target Ukraine's civilians. Terrorists and murderers.- Русский корабль - иди нахуй

The most beneficial angle of this is probably the symbolism of a South American country sending fighter jets to support Ukraine. Perhaps it can be seen by other countries as a way to build tighter economic and military ties to NATO and Western countries. Argentina's President Javier Milei has approved a plan to send five Dassault Super-Étendard combat aircraft to Ukraine. This decision involves negotiating with France, the US, and NATO to bypass the British embargo preventing the use of these aircraft due to the Falklands War. The plan includes a potential swap with France, exchanging the Super Etendards for military equipment like drones or helicopters, with France handling the necessary upgrades to the aircraft. Good points here- Русский корабль - иди нахуй

More Indians killed in Russia. India has told Russia to stop recruiting its citizens, as many of them report bring tricked into fighting on the front line. I would've thought more countries would respond this way. Surely once they start dying this will backfire on Russia. https://www.independent.co.uk/asia/india/indians-killed-russian-army-ukraine-war-b2561018.html Two Indians killed fighting for Russian military in Ukraine- Русский корабль - иди нахуй
I can't remember if it's been posted here or not but Russia is increasingly recruiting local extremists and gangs to do what their own operatives used to do before they were expelled. Unfortunately, it gives Russia another level of deniability and provides the Western countries space to not have to retaliate against Russia. https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2024/05/11/russia-recruiting-far-right-extremists-attacks-west-putin/- Русский корабль - иди нахуй

Russia has made some gains in the Chasiv Yar direction. They're using the same Avdiivka tactics. It's my understanding that taking Chasiv Yar would be much more of a strategic advantage than Bakhmut or Avdiivka- Русский корабль - иди нахуй
This Russian ammunition storage in the Belgorod Region has been hit and destroyed. You can clearly hear secondary explosions. It has to be noted that again Russians positioned this military target in the middle of a civilian neighborhood. At least, you can see normal houses in the foreground. Belgorod Region is now more than ever in the cross hairs of long range weapons, especially Western-made weapons, and it is all related to Russia’s blunder in attacking Kharkiv Region. It is the boomerang which resulted from Putin’s latest miscalculation BREAKING 🚨 Ukrainian naval drone may have sunk a large landing ship in Yeysk last night - Crimean Wind channel reports At night, around midnight , a Ukrainian UAV attacked a Russian ship near the port of Yeisk (point two) and the ship, preliminary, went to accompany the cruiser "Moscow" . In the morning, all information about the attack was deleted from all public pages."- Israel vs everyone war thread
Some early reporting from both sides that the captured Israeli, Noa Argamani, was held hostage in the home of a journalist for the Palestine Chronicle (US based and 501 c3 nonprofit news org) and spokesman for the Hamas Ministry of Labor. He, his wife, and his father, a doctor, were reportedly killed in the operation. He also seems to have done freelance work for Al Jazeera Full text of below tweet: This kind of blew up, so let me clear up the confusion as to where things stand as of now. 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐦𝐞𝐝: 🔸Abdallah Aljamal was a journalist for the Palestine Chronicle, a US-based 501c3 🔸He was the spokesperson for Hamas's Ministry of Labor 🔸He was NOT a journalist for Al Jazeera. Yes, we all got that wrong. (Doesn't mean Al Jazeera isn't still a Hamas mouthpiece though, because it absolutely is) 𝐍𝐎𝐓 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐦𝐞𝐝: 🔸That Israeli hostages were held by Abdallah Aljamal In an initial testimony documenting the killings committed by the Israeli army in the Nuseirat camp today, the @EuroMedHR reported that the Israeli army used a ladder to enter the home of Dr. Ahmed Al-Jamal. The army immediately executed 36-year-old Fatima Al-Jamal upon encountering her on the staircase. The forces then stormed the house and executed her husband, journalist Abdullah Al-Jamal, 36, and his father, Dr. Ahmed, 74, in front of his grandchildren. The army also shot their daughter, Zainab, 27, who sustained serious injuries. https://www.i24news.tv/en/news/israel-at-war/artc-gazan-civilians-held-rescued-israeli-hostage-noa-argamani-in-their-home-report- Русский корабль - иди нахуй

Haha. The "mountain's" response is worth including: NEW: Chinese officials are forced to apologize after a hiker discovers a secret water pipe feeding China’s tallest waterfall Millions of tourists visit the 1,024-foot-tall Yuntai Mountain Waterfall annually, attracted by its ancient geological formations over a billion years old ‘I didn't expect to meet everyone this way. As a seasonal scenery I can't guarantee that I will be in my most beautiful form everytime you come to see me,’ - social media post from officials for Yuntai Mountain Geopark ‘I made a small enhancement during the dry season only so I would look my best to meet my friends.’ Chinese social media users were still infuriated by the decision ‘It's not respecting the natural order, and not respecting the tourists’ one user said ‘How could it be called the No.1 waterfall anymore’ another user said- Русский корабль - иди нахуй
In relation to the conversation about the current state of things, I haven't seen the energy issues discussed much here. Before the war, Ukraine was a top energy producer in Europe. Now, they have multiple blackouts a day 3-4 hours at a time. Businesses and services are essentially only able to function if they have a generator. Russia has done significant damage to Ukraine's energy infrastructure over the last few months by taking advantage of Ukraine's air defense shortages and continues to do damage in this regard. This is a serious issue and will become all the more pressing as fine, and winter, drag on. I'm hoping some of these defense packages and the loans being given help them address both the defense and energy infrastructure issues but I worry the energy side in particular is not so simply solved.- Русский корабль - иди нахуй
