  1. The Russian commander of the #1822 battalion from Samara city, Major Tomov, who disappeared 5 days ago, resurfaced alive on the Ukrainian side. In this video he helps the #Ukrainian officers by disclosing and putting on the map the Russian positions and fortifications along the eastern bank of the Dnipro river. [Video by the Ukrainian military.] For context: On August 9, "Z-war correspondents" claimed that the Ukrainian military had raided the left bank of the Dnipro River, probably advancing 800 meters deep. The Russians concealed this operation, denied it, and then issued that they had sunk all the boats. As a result, Major Tomov and at least 17 other men from his group disappeared near the village of Kozachi Laheri, as the Rashists wrote. Russian propaganda also tried to cover up the disappearance of the reconnaissance group, but something went wrong.
  2. The Ukrainian MoD released two spectacular videos, showing surviving Russian troops fleeing from Urozhaine. It is absolute carnage because those Russians have no armored vehicles, no vehicles at all and flee in broad daylight on an open road and fields. The 2nd video is even worse for them because it shows the usage of cluster ammunition, blasting those troops into absolute bits. This is just another video proving the low quality of Russian command structures. To give so panicking withdrawal orders and allowing the own troops being literally destroyed with no cover from the dark or some vehicles is a masterclass in failure in itself. It is unlikely that there are any Russian troops alive in Urozhaine. Location: just south of Urozhaine. See map.
  3. That's a big nope from me Interesting. Maybe they can't maintain the commercial planes with sanctions or parts/planes are needed for the war? Russian media say that the Kremlin regime is thinking of closing some or even all Moscow airports "for several weeks with subsequent prolongation" due to the terrorist threat (drones and, allegedly, in the short term, the possibility of strikes by long-range missiles from Sumy region, Ukraine). Reportedly, this issue seems to be very painful for the Presidential Administration, FSB and the Russian government. It may unpredictably affect public mood, cause reputational losses of the inoperative air defense forces, and inflict financial losses - the regime's primary concern. Allegedly, the Russian ministry of defense considers the closure of civilian skies as an unpleasant, but not a catastrophic event within the logic of war. The ministry of defense believes the closure of airports will cause an increase in patriotic sentiments and demands to strengthen military escalation. They think that the situation may cause the military to use those types of weapons against Ukrainian facilities that have not been used so far.
  4. Two missiles shot down over the Kerch Bridge - "head" of Crimea Aksenov. The crossing was allegedly not damaged. Aksenov's "advisor" claims that the smoke on the bridge is a "smoke cover" created by rescue services. He says traffic will resume moving in the nearest future. By the way, for the first time events on the Kerch Bridge are taking place in the daytime.
  5. A series of tweets of the Crimean bridge in the order they were posted:
  6. 🇷🇺 MOVES CLOSER TO CHAOS ⚡️⚡️ The 🇷🇺 Central Bank, knowing that 🇷🇺 is on the edge of being ravaged by worsening inflation, is attempting to curb price increases - caused by the ruble depreciating so quickly - by raising interest rates 40% (from 7.5% to 10%) within just two months. This is one of the few things 🇷🇺 can do to slow inflation, however it will also: 📌 Cut into business lending & slow economic growth. 📌 Higher cost of business lending inevitably translates into layoffs & unemployment. 📌 Tax base, in a country hemorrhaging money, will shrink due to less economic activity. The situation in 🇷🇺 is becoming ever more destabilized & it appears it is about to get worse. Thanks to economist, Dr. @SLugovskyy 🇺🇦-🇺🇸, who helped write this: Following him if 🇷🇺 collapsing is interesting to you. 😉
  7. Lieutenant Colonel Rostyslav Lazarenko, 29 y.o., one of the best aces of Ukrainian Air Force. He has successfully completed 382 combat missions during the war. Hero of Ukraine, Knight of the Order of Bohdan Khmelnytskyi of all classes, Chevalier of the Order for Courage, III Class.
  8. Heavy Fighting is reported to currently be ongoing to North of Kupiansk in Kharkiv Region with Russian Forces having launched a Significant Assault once again over the last few hours; Russian and Ukrainian Source are claiming that Russian Airborne Elements have now reached the Outskirts of Synkivka only 3.5 Miles from Kupiansk, while Russian Fixed-Wing Aircraft and Helicopters are continuing to conducting Strikes along the Frontline using Rockets and FAB-250/500 Bombs fitted with Glide-Kits.
  9. Are they just going to fine him in perpetuity until the tattoo or leg is removed?
  10. A bit earlier today there were reports about the strike on Elektromash plant territory in Nova Kakhovka, Kherson region. Ukrainian sources reported that Russian command centre was targeted there. P.S: Elektromash plant is known to be one of the favourite places for Russians in Nova Kakhovka. Dozens and dozens of strikes on this area were reported during Russian occupation. t.me/AFUStratCom/19…

An explosion at an optical-mechanical plant occurred in a warehouse with pyrotechnics. At least 10 people were injured. Now a total evacuation has been declared there, as the Ruzzian media write. Glass shattered in neighboring houses. The Zagorsk Optical and Mechanical Plant manufactures military products, in particular night sights for tanks.
