  1. He did a good (not great) job of staying with Russell on scrambles from what I could tell.
  2. They ran outside zone against Duncanville to milk the game. Running right behind him. And Jimerson had plenty of time in the pocket on throws.
  3. The defense will return 3 of its 5 best players in Hill, Simmons and Muhammad. Williams and Mcdonald should be a dynamic duo at safety based on this year's performances. I'm not worried about either side of the ball, but if I had to pick, I'd say offensive line and the skill positions have more to prove than the defense next year.
  4. In Sarks last three losses, we rushed for 51 (Washington), 31 (Georgia), and 29 (Georgia). I don't think this Texas team is losing to any team against whom they can run the ball. Clemson gave up 154 rushing yards against SMU, 267 against SC, 210 against Pitt, and 169 against Georgia.
  5. I know it sounds crazy but the 7 seed might be an easier path to the championship game than the 5 seed. If Beck isn't able to throw a ball in a month and you have multiple weeks to prepare for what they have? And after that you get one of Boise, Penn State and Clemson/SMU? I dunno. Sounds more appealing than a semifinal matchup with Oregon.
  6. I Keep seeing this sentiment and it's so annoying. Alabama isn't 9-3 because they played a difficult schedule. They're 9-3 because they lost to the 12th and 13th placed teams in the SEC.
  7. SMU is -1400 to make the playoffs. Alabama is +800
  8. Sounds like a guy who was given millions to go all in before a year when he had a weak schedule... Who then lost to Kentucky and Florida.
  9. This is random, but who is going to announce the playoffs games on TNT? Ernie Johnson and Charles Barkley?
  10. Georgia won't get punished for losing the SEC championship game unless it's a blowout. Oregon, Ohio State, Texas, Big 12 winner, Acc winner, Boise, Indiana, Penn State, Tennessee, ACC loser, Notre Dame. That leaves one more. It would be Georgia.
  11. Agreed. A huge chunk of the teams people are whining about right now are either going to be completely out of it or prove themselves in the next three weeks. Arguing about Indiana right now is like trying to say the Commanders can't beat Kansas City in the Super Bowl. Like... Okay? Fuck em, but let's see what happens.
  12. That All State Playoffs projector thing has us at a 75% chance to make the playoffs if we beat Kentucky but lose to A&M. Seems high.
  13. I thought the braces was even a part of the plot. Like the reason Jaws bonded with her was they both had metal mouths. And when he smiled with his "jaws" she smiled back with braces. Weird one.
  14. Last year we looked really bad against Houston. Nearly lost to KState. Needed an AD miracle catch to close out TCU. After all that frustration, we absolutely handled business against Tech and Oklahoma State, looking like a top team to end the season. I'm predicting the same for this year. The team is going to peak at the right time and curb stomp Kentucky and A&M.
