  1. Not disagreeing with you but I think 95% of programs would love to bring back a 1000 yard rusher and a short yardage back who still averaged 4.8 ypc.
  2. Watching the Cover 3 Podcast on YouTube right now and they're interviewing Tim Love at Tannehill's in the stockyards. He seems more likeable in this kind of format.
  3. I know Oregon was #1 most of the season, but they have 0 players expected to be drafted in the 1st round, 0 expected in the 2nd round, and perhaps 2 in the 3rd round. Tennessee has one fringe first day player. Penn State has two and then a drop off. Michigan was missing half their elite draft prospects when they played them. Texas is by far the most talented team Ohio State will play all season. 6 or 7 guys will go in the first 3 rounds. There's a reason the projected spread was -1.5 and the recency bias pushed it up to -6.5.
  4. Is Hill injured? Re-watching and he looks slow on almost every play. Also... If Cam Williams makes his block on a dude half his size... That turnaround screen everyone hates goes for at least 25 yards.
  5. He did a good (not great) job of staying with Russell on scrambles from what I could tell.
  6. They ran outside zone against Duncanville to milk the game. Running right behind him. And Jimerson had plenty of time in the pocket on throws.
  7. The defense will return 3 of its 5 best players in Hill, Simmons and Muhammad. Williams and Mcdonald should be a dynamic duo at safety based on this year's performances. I'm not worried about either side of the ball, but if I had to pick, I'd say offensive line and the skill positions have more to prove than the defense next year.
  8. In Sarks last three losses, we rushed for 51 (Washington), 31 (Georgia), and 29 (Georgia). I don't think this Texas team is losing to any team against whom they can run the ball. Clemson gave up 154 rushing yards against SMU, 267 against SC, 210 against Pitt, and 169 against Georgia.
  9. I know it sounds crazy but the 7 seed might be an easier path to the championship game than the 5 seed. If Beck isn't able to throw a ball in a month and you have multiple weeks to prepare for what they have? And after that you get one of Boise, Penn State and Clemson/SMU? I dunno. Sounds more appealing than a semifinal matchup with Oregon.
  10. I Keep seeing this sentiment and it's so annoying. Alabama isn't 9-3 because they played a difficult schedule. They're 9-3 because they lost to the 12th and 13th placed teams in the SEC.
  11. Sounds like a guy who was given millions to go all in before a year when he had a weak schedule... Who then lost to Kentucky and Florida.
  12. This is random, but who is going to announce the playoffs games on TNT? Ernie Johnson and Charles Barkley?
  13. Georgia won't get punished for losing the SEC championship game unless it's a blowout. Oregon, Ohio State, Texas, Big 12 winner, Acc winner, Boise, Indiana, Penn State, Tennessee, ACC loser, Notre Dame. That leaves one more. It would be Georgia.
