Starting to doubt the Jamison decision.  He was one of my favorite DB's in the class, and he has produced nothing on offense.

There were all these pre-season raves about Jamison scoring long TD's in scrimmages.  But now I think we can all see that had more to do with our defense's inability to stop a jet sweep than with having a sufficient package for Jamison.

A true nickel is more valuable than another Daje/Monroe that doesn't get touches.

    lol okay I'm dumb.

Well, he’s not going to play nickel this year, so why not put him on offense where he’ll see the field and maybe help us?  Now, if he’s still messing around on offense next year and we are short on DBs, then I’ll start worrying.

So what's more valuable:  A year of practice reps and garbage time at the position you will actually play or a year getting no reps at the position you will play?

If we assume he's going back next year, why isn't he getting better at what he'll do next year?

  4. Starting to realize Texas, Tech and Oklahoma State are the only teams in the conference with quality wins thus far.

Oklahoma has played no one, and looks less impressive each week.  (though they could still be really good.  West Virginia has played no one, though they look like they should against the nobodies.

I think this thing is wide open.  And I think there's a good chance the teams that end up in the conference championship game both have multiple losses.

  5. Patterson:  "You gotta give Texas' defense credit.  We tried to go sideways and it didn't work out against them."

Going into this game, lots of people on here were scared of TCU's speed.  I think it's slowly starting to dawn on people that with Gary Johnson, Brandon Jones, and Caden Sterns pursuing horizontally, we have the athletes to match this conference.  And with Boyd, Locke and Davis playing well outside, we're able to shut down the run game without moving guys out of the box.

TCU and USC have above average running games, and they could do absolutely nothing against us on the ground.  This defense is the reason I'm optimistic about making a run at this conference.

  6. Cant wait to hear what the spin doctors at TCU decide to make their negative recruiting pitch about now.

Actually they probably just move ok to recruits considering schools they can still talk shit about.  They know no other game.

  7. The Pats have the best coach in football, and they struggle early almost every season.  College football is less forgiving than the NFL, but just because you struggle early in the year doesn't mean you aren't a strong football mind.

Texas improved throughout the year last season, and they improved throughout games.  Every week Texas is taking less time to adjust to their opponent.

Gotta finish the season strong, but some good signs.

Congrats to them on their zero (or 0.5) Big XII championships in that time period.

They got beat by two scores against a team breaking in a new QB just like them.  Oregon State put up more points on Ohio State than them.

Maybe TCU beats Texas because our coaching staff is flawed, but I don't need to suck their dick the week leading up to it.

Glad I didn't praise them leading up to this.

  9. The people who complain about the tone of orange might consider that they probably started hating the "new" hue around the same time HD TVs came out.

Or maybe it's the Mandella Effect.

You should be more annoyed they they’ve been far and away the best football program in Texas for nearly a decade now.
