  1. Unbelievable performance from OU so far. Iā€™m fine with them exposing this Bama team, which they seemed to talk about more than Texas on Gameday this morning. I didnā€™t even know they were still doing CBB Gameday so not sure I expected much. Greenberg is unwatchable.
  2. Keeps them firmly as a Q1 win for us. As the resident Creighton hater, fuck ā€˜em.
  3. Last night I got it at +7.5 and sprinkled a bit on +250 moneyline. Going to be a fun day, have a feeling the Big 12 dominates besides OU and Tech.
  4. While it does love Tennessee, ESPNā€™s Basketball Power Index has us #5 overall, finishing 24-7, and a 59% favorite to win the Big 12. Really hoping we can pull out a win on Saturday to keep building some nice momentum headed into the last 10 games. A loss doesnā€™t hurt much in the end, but Iā€™m ready for the guys to start getting some national respect again and eliminate the skepticism that they canā€™t do something special without Beard. Iā€™m expecting an ugly ass game like last year unless we can shoot like Tuesday and make Tennessee score with us. Canā€™t wait.
  5. Then the Cook article would just be every quote from Sarkā€™s Q&A that morning.
  6. Or we could take him then tell him to get in the fucking thing later on. The numbers.
  7. Rodney Terry after he takes us to the Final Four. Canā€™t wait for the 30 for 30.
  8. Creighton social medias going hard with the Horns down messaging. Letā€™s fuck these bastards up and remind the people of Nebraska just why they hate Texas so much.
  9. Please be UCLA. Would be a great uniform matchup and fun game overall.
  10. Matthew Mayer playing for Illinois without a mullet is weird
  11. USA Today thinks the Alamo Bowl takes Tech over us. Probably just assuming the Alamo has Texas fatigue. I canā€™t imagine this happening but Florida State would be a fun opponent. https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/ncaaf/2022/11/28/college-football-bowl-projections-usc-michigan-playoff/10784280002/
  12. Pretty sure we figured out this summer that itā€™s ran by some young guy who was working as an intern at Subway in Cancun as of 2015.
  13. A Husker buddy told me to take a look at Elijah Robinsonā€™s most recent liked tweet: Would be a shame.
  14. Itā€™s early in the season obviously, but another thing I forgot to mention is that Creighton is ranked third in the country in least fouls per game (for reference, we are 185th). They have been good about staying out of trouble so far, even against an aggressive team like Arizona. Would love to see it though. I think we are going to feast offensively around the basket. Kalkbrenner gets a couple blocks a game just off height alone, but he is pretty soft. Iā€™m really hoping for a Dillon Mitchell posterization of him that brings the house down.
  15. Yeah itā€™s hard for me to think that Sonny Dykes would have taken our 2021 roster, without Xavier Worthy, and accomplished any more than Sark did (maybe he beats Kansas). Nor that he would have had us better positioned going into Year 3. Maybe Dykes really has turned a corner as a coach and program builder and TCU runs shit for the next decade, but Iā€™ll choose to believe this season was a miracle and not sustainable greatness. That can be said without discounting a great year by them so far, one that we all wish could have happened here. Fuck them and Sonny Dykes, respectfully.
  16. Have some family that went to Creighton, so I tend to follow them pretty closely. Our depth is definitely the advantage in this game and where I think we can overwhelm them. Their starting 5 looks to be fairly elite, but the bench is a real weakness. When Alexander and/or Nembhard are out, Farabello (TCU transfer) and Mitchell donā€™t put much fear into anyone. Mike Millerā€™s kid can get hot from three I guess, but our guards should be able to body him up on D and certainly attack him on offense. The big man King is very raw and heā€™s the only thing close to an inside presence they have on the bench. Creighton fans are just Nebraska football fans wearing blue, and maybe more annoying. Iā€™d imagine the boosters that McDermott hangs with have been in his ear about beating Texas since the game was announced. I expect them to ride their starting lineup as much as they can, and more than they could in Maui. If we can contain Kaluma and somewhat keep Kalkbrenner away from the basket, they will live and die by the three and should need an incredible night from deep to keep it close. Been waiting to match up with Creighton for a long time, but never expected it to be this big of a game. Hoping for another Gonzaga-type demolition and securing bragging rights in the family.
  17. I think people are just assuming things since we havenā€™t heard anything about him since the injury. Hopefully itā€™s nothing, itā€™d be great to see him come back from injury and dominate. I donā€™t see why he would leave unless he just hasnā€™t enjoyed it here. It does have to suck watching the offense you were supposed to light up rely on two WRs all year.
