So only ours temporarily, but figured I share.
There is an RV park about a mile and 1/2 from where we live. Guy this morning from there goes for his daily walk but he takes a different route. He wasn't sure why he did the the different route until he comes across a litter of flea infested pups (5-7 weeks old maybe?) Not sure what to do, he goes back to the RV park and tells a guy that he knows who has a dog and tells him about the pups. That guy happens to be client of my wife and is a friend to both of us as he brings his dog over once a week to play with ours. Any way, he gets the pups but really doesn't know what to do with them as everything (shelters/rescue) is closed today due to Easter. Calls us up asking for advice, where to keep them, etc....(his airstream is only 26' ft and no real place to keep 9 pups other than the bed of his truck.......Sooooooo,
Change of plans for Easter! Bring them over and we'll have a look....dirty and infested with fleas, first thing is a bath for all of them. 3 a piece for each of us and luckily Tractor Supply was open to find the shampoo and other items needed for puppies. Meanwhile our pack of 5 is looking at myself and the Mrs., like WTF did they bring home now?
Not really sure what they are as half of the litter looks like Labs or Pyrenees and the other 5 are different... got contacts out to more professional fosters than us, but right now they are clean, fed and warm sleeping together in a kennel in our garage.
Chaps me when people do this to dogs, especially pups.
