  1. Watched it last night. Little slow at times and maybe some plot holes or questions regarding the breaking of his own rules, but I enjoyed it.
  2. Now I know where the Milkmen get their choreography from...
  3. This one was 3 on tree but has been transferred to the floor after having a tilt steering put in. I had a 69 Chevy stepside in the early 90's that was 3/tree and the linkage would always slip/hang up between 1st and second upon leaving stop signs or lights so you had to super careful when shifting or be stuck between gears and hold up traffic.
  4. This one is a 65. Before getting this one I looked for yrs at the 50's models as I always liked the body style. But the more I looked, I slowly turned towards the early 60's as my first vehicle I owned and drove in high school was was a '64 GMC stepside. That one was a long bed as I liked those more back then but now love the short beds. This has the same engine as the one in high school, a straight 6.
  5. Great job bud, I love the dark color as well. Thanks! Appreciate that... I took the colors from this gal on IG that had built her own outdoor table and then stained. She used two different colors, an Amherst Grey as an undercoat and then a Cordova Brown over the top. A couple of my boards were lighter after the first coats and just looked a little washed out (even though it looked good with her table) for the look I was wanting. Put another coat to make them a bit darker and then putting the urethane on after the stain made it pop a little. Pretty happy with it as it looks better than I expected and is still a bit different than the original or kit looks with metal in between the boards. (saved a few bucks too!)
  6. I'd been meaning to replace the bed wood in my truck for quite some time and finally got around to doing it this past week. Before spending $$$ on one of the kits, I figured I would just replace what was already there as it had gotten a lot of compliments through the years I've had it even though it was rough looking. Still have a few things to do to finish it off completely, but I like the way it turned out. Got a few compliments on it yesterday at a car show too.
  7. Two different angles... I think the one from behind shows him twisting the leg after the tackle , but the injury could have already been done.
  8. I'm pretty sure we have a competent ortho on the team. If you wathed the post game press last night , it was apparent with Sark's demeanor during it, that they already knew. Just needed the the MRI today for confirmation. Sucks for JB and the team.
  9. Ridiculous we can't get one fucking yard.....
  10. Red Zone O sucking again....not sure why Worthy lost his footing on that catch. Should have been six.
  11. Lubbock is a shithole. You aren't missing a thing town wise. Had to spend a weekend, in the middle of February no less, there for work about 10 yrs ago. The city tree is a telephone pole. There must be three, with the accompanying 10 wires for every house there. The only thing good about Lubbock is that all the pretty girls (below the 10%, now 6 ?% line) that used to go to UT, are now going there. The good looking, beautiful blonde hair, blue eyed girls were everywhere.
  12. Good for you and especially your son. Going back to their roots and some great baseball teams (plus the wife played basketball there) I still like to think of it as Pan American 🤘
  13. Long story but I lived up there for 25 years before getting back to Texas in '09. Have her get the right clothes. Marino wool, gortex, dress in layers and GET OUTSIDE no matter what. Go hiking, running, even cycling in the winter. Having the right gear means it doesn't matter how shitty the weather is,....and 40 degrees and drizzle for 5-9 months is shitty. Seasonal Affective Disorder is a real deal up there and you beat it by getting outside even if it is just for a bit. Chase the sun by getting into the mountains or going to the east side of the state or even better, a quick trip weekend to Cali in February (we did this when Augie would bring the baseball team to play Stanford or one of the San Diego schools). Great Indian summers in August-October, but the winters can be harsh. Best of luck to her up there and with school.
  14. Well this topic is definitely much more entertaining than the Mormons vs Hillbillie's game tonight... I've counted at least 3 or more slap fights on just the last 3 pages.😂 🤘
  15. Yeah, I remember now that you were a sub guy. Not to disrespect SeALs (sister service rivalry and all) but working with them, I'm not sure which are worse about the love of their bodies or hair, them or PJs! 😂 Matt Best has some great videos covering the subject on his IG. Sums them both up well.
  16. You're good. Red Wing's losses were 12 SEALS and 8 Night Stalkers (160th) Extortion 17 was 30 US personnel and a military K9. 17 SEALs and a dog handler, 4 NSW support, 5 Army aircrew (Reserve and NG) 3USAF (2 PJs and 1 CCT) 8 Afghan Commandoes were also on board.
  17. Just funnin' with you.... SEAL teams don't operate in battalion size (450-500 in training, can be larger in combat) strength. Ranger batts are that size, but even then normally don't operate or deploy at the full battalion size/strength. Usually in company or companies.
  18. Not quite sure about your math....😃 The talent pool is always there. It's the experience / knowledge base which is difficult to replace. What Frank Drebin's buddy said is pretty much common knowledge. All that quoted above can be found at any library (Mostly from former SeALs and their book deals 🤷‍♂️). Since the start of GWOT, what the press and a couple of administrations have released particularly about SeAL Team 6, along with Delta, the 160th or the other components from the Air Force (CCT/PJs) and Marine MARSOC is readily available.
