  1. Ferrucci in pole for Portland. I’m pretty sure it’s because I told him “good luck” in passing yesterday.
  2. Felix seems to be fitting in at MSR. Pole for the second event in a row.
  3. I don't notice until I notice. "Hey, where is this shirt?" "Oh, I got rid of it along with some others last year."
  4. My wife goes through my clothes and gives them away without asking and I don't notice.
  5. This second half should be interesting. Will the tire savers smash into the front runners?
  6. Because they are. lolI picked McLaughlin to win the race and Pato to win the championship
  7. Yep - I had one lady a couple of years that "Biden has blood on his hands" because of the Afghanistan pull out and reminded her that Trump wanted the withdrawal a few months earlier than what actually happened. And, I reminded her it wouldn't have mattered who was president it would not have gone well which is why it took so long.
  8. Nothing planned so far, but I would like to go to Sammy's birthday bash before he can't do it anymore. Saw Jack Russell's Great White last weekend. Band was awesome. Jack was.... a bit out of tune. His voice sounded exactly the same, but only one pitch. Saw Mammoth WVH with Nita Strauss in December. Really good.
  9. Got this for Christmas. Really like it so far.
  10. After looking around some, I have decided I like solar powered plus either atomic timing or satellite timing. The ones that appeal to me are either Seiko Coutura line or Citizen PCAT or Satellite like I've linked to above. Any other manufacturers that have both. I did look at Casio/G-shock. Those Direnzos sure look nice!
  11. What do you all think of these? I like the looks of them. Maybe pushing outside of "affordable watches" but I've the Citizen on eBay for under $500. The Seiko, not so much. Citizen Satellite Wave GPS. Seiko Presage.
  12. If it's not green or growing it's good in my book.
  13. Wait until she starts singing "Save a horse, Ride a Cowboy." I'm sure it will all be fine.
  14. We have four kids, all "adult" now. Our son moved out for two years and then moved back in about a year ago to save money and concentrate on college. He's 26. Our oldest daughter just graduated from college with a radiology tech degree and is returning for another year to get her ultrasound degree. She got married and moved out about a year and a half ago. Her husband is in the air force about 50 miles away and they currently live on base. Her job is 70 miles one way. He is being deployed next month, so she is moving back in with us for the shorter commute and to save money so when he returns, they can buy a house. Our middle daughter just went out of state for college to be an airline pilot but is close enough to be able to drive back once a month or so without too big of a deal. At least until winter comes. Our youngest is returning to high school to get her diploma in the spring. She's had some mental health issues that I wrote about on another thread somewhere and she should have graduated this year. At least she is returning to finish. On top of that, we took on a foster child that is 15. Just when I think our house might be less crowded, it ends up being more crowded. Yes, I love my alone time. When I get any.
  15. That reminds me of a time when I was out drinking to the point of not being able to drive. Buddies I was drinking suggested getting "Buddy cab" where two people come pick you up and drive you and your car home. Anyway, I texted another buddy to ask if he had used it before. Before he could respond I responded "Well, I have now!" Yes, I read my own text to him as it being from him and then answering.
  16. We went to the local speedway on Saturday evening. Our foster daughter wore pajama pants, fuzzy slippers and a sweatshirt. It was about 90 degrees. I told her it was going to be warm for a sweatshirt, but she said she was fine. Whatever.
  17. Same - I got it when he passed away and finally sold my half to my sister because I couldn't stand driving the thing. I'm sure it was great when new, but no power steering, no power brakes, etc. made it terrible to drive. Cool to look at, though. To add to this thread, though I skipped a couple of pages, my daughter bought a Kia EV6 last year. It might be the fastest car (at least in a straight line) I've ever driven.
  18. Not if you don't take a blacklight.
  19. We bought our daughters a 2013 VW Jetta almost three years ago that had been wrecked for a good price and had less than 50,000 miles on it. It had been purchased by a used car dealer that that is all they did - buy repairable cars even though totaled - and had them fixed. We still have it and just drove with the older one to drop her off out of state for college and she'll be using it. No problems insuring it and kept full coverage (not Texas). With used car prices right now, we could probably sell it for what we paid.
