  1. We are an elite QB away from fucking everyone's shit up. The team played like shit for a half, but Quinn was given multiple times to win the game and he couldn't deliver the clutch throw.
  2. Now go find the same in the aggy stands.
  3. On top of that, they brag about their enrollment, but the kids they are bringing onto campus a lot give zero and zero point one percent about athletics. Asian and Indian students just don't care about sports.
  4. or it's not a Terryble Christmas for Texas.
  5. Yes. I think it's a clear goal for the Astros this offseason.
  6. I can't even comprehend being this ruthless in recruiting, as good as the great Mack classes were he wasn't pulling guys like Justus Terry.
  7. They use Shedrick to set screens on the perimeter and then rim run. He seems effective at this role and when executed with Pope or Larry it turns out to be good. I wish we would screen more off the ball.
  8. We need McCullers and Whitley to be 5th/6th/7th inning guys in the bullpen next season. McCullers is obviously overpaid for that role, but them staying healthy and contributing there gives the team a chance to have a very strong 13-man pitching staff. I would still try to sign one more veteran starter and move to a 6-man rotation Valdez(unless traded), Brown, vet, Blanco, Arighetti, Garcia/Javier (when they are available). Closer- Hader 8th - Abreu MR - Scott, King, Ort, Dubin, Whitley, McCullers
  9. If we somehow got Haywood we would pass Georgia back for #1, if they close with Terry today like most expect.
  10. Anyone that thinks that super blues along the OL don't need development are just fucking idoitic morons. We've had multiple 5-star OL not work out because the development was lacking.
  11. OB reporting Quinn is dealing with a high ankle sprain and reinjured his oblique against aggy.
  12. We have signed 6 CBs in the last 2 classes, what are you talking about?
  13. You don't care what the stats say, yet posted stats to justify your post. There are stretches where he does what you say, but over the majority of his minutes he's doing what the coaches ask him to do, which is switch on the PnR on defense and set PnR and rim runs on offense. Which is why his stats look the way they do, but yes, please continue to watch with your eyes, because they are lying to you. You say he floats on offense, yet leads the team in ORB%, you say he floats on defense put leads the team in BLK%. I think you really don't have any idea what the coaching staff expects from him. He leads the team in FTr, by a large margin. Texas has an elite two point defense, you don't have that without his rim protectio, which means other players need to rebound, mainly Kaluma. So yes, he needs to shoot FTs better since he leads the team in attempts and gets fouled a shit ton, which is interesting for a guy that floats on offense, and he needs to stop shooting 3's because he sucks at them and it also means he's not drawing fouls in the paint.
  14. What in the holy hell are you talking about. He needs to do two things, make more FTs and stop shooting 3's.
  15. The conversation was based on his preceived draft grade dropping by being ignored. Though statisically this is his best season, maybe the 2nd half of the season cooled their jets, and I hope he would return. He's a great team player and he would be missed.
  16. It was the owner, and yeah, I think most on this thread would prefer him not becoming the MLB version of Jerry Jones. Personally, I want him to sell the team, because I think he's not going to give up control and he's an idoitic baseball mind. Just like Bagwell, Jackson, and Biggio. Great players, idoits when given control.
  17. The Javier deal is fine, you can pretty much assume that any long term deal to a young pitcher is going to include a TJ season. The $48M to Abreu, McCullers, and Montero is what is costing us Bregman and another high quality bat.
  18. Based on my limited conversations with his family at the Cotton Bowl, he's one and done at Texas. They were pissed with the lack of targets, but he's been our only reliable and healthy WR over the back half of the season. NIL can change minds, but right now I would say he's moving on to the NFL.
  19. I think he will test well and go in the 5-7 rounds on those numbers alone. He's a 3rd down back in the NFL, and likely cut if his ball security issues continue.
  20. I am sorry but when almost the entire DL reestablishes the LOS 3 yards into the offensive backfield, it has everything to do with physical domination.
  21. Deciding Friday and the team that gets him finishes #1.
  22. The new phone flop out.
