This is the problem, people aren't grading him on the level that he was the leading Heisman candidate and projected #1 (Top 10) NFL pick coming into the season. We got version of Quinn for the 1st 3 games and since he got back we have gotten freshmen Quinn. We all saw what that version got us against Georgia, an ass kicking.
Even his best plays against Vanderbilt were bad throws that are not completed against better competition. The throw to Helm for 24 yrads, was off his back foot and in the NFL it;s either broken up or intercepted. The throw to Moore for the 2nd TD in the NFL that ball is broken up. The sack he took on the RPO was horrendous because he saw the blitzing CB the entire play, a NFL QB throws that ball away to save the 5 yards, then he compounds that on the next play by turning a great concept and route by Wingo into a PBU by underthrowing the ball. A JAG NFL QB completes that pass for a TD more times than not.
The training wheels need to be taken off and people need to understand that a 3-year QB shouldn't be slightly better than the freshmen backup.
