  1. Need to scrap 12 personnel because we don't have the RB to use it effectively. Need to go to 11 personnel almost excusively.
  2. Pass to Golden for a TD, took an elite effort from the WR to complete the catch. Pass to Moore for the 2nd TD, poorly thrown ball that Moore had to adjust to and allowed the DB to make up the separation. Pass to Helm for the big gain down the middle, threw off his back foot when he had no pressure, nearly allowed the LB to break up the pass. CB sack, missed Golden over the middle and Wisner in the flat. 1st drive 2H. 1st and 10, RPO with a 2 man route, holds onto the ball and takes a sack. 2nd down, horrible throw to an open Wingo, broken up. 3rd down, stepped right into pressure because his pocket awareness is terrible, threw a bullet to Wiser that was nearly intercepted. Missed Helm coming free for a TD because he ran out of time due to his shitty pocket awareness.
  3. I mean he threw passes beind the LOS that our elite athletes turned into big gains.
  4. We'd all be happy if Ewers was throwing the intermediate passes he has shown to be very good at completing. He isn't anymore, nor is he looking in the middle of the field. Golden is open a lot in the 10-15 range in the middle of the field. The 1st tipped INT was going to him, he was wide open. On 2 of the 4 sacks, Golden was wide open, but Quinn held onto the ball. The only pass over the middle that I recall was to Helm down the seam and it was an explosive play. Every other pass was outside the hashes. When a defense knows you don't have to cover the middle of the field, they aren't going to do it. The playcalling is too predictable right now with Quinn because he refuses to use the entire field.
  5. He missed that one FG against Michigan. That's been it, Looks like he also missed one against OU. He hasn't gotten a lot of opportunities this year because our RZ execution has been much better until we started playing the meat of our SEC schedule.
  6. They are, it's a problem doesn't explain away 6/17 for 77 yards. Like I said, if Quinn needs perfection on every play from the rest of the 10 guys in order to maximize this offense, then fuck him.
  7. Our OL would probably help the DL up off the turf.
  8. or trust your evaluations and develop your guys so you aren't wasting money in the portal on a kicker and a puner.
  9. You really are a true idoit. I mean you really expect everyone on the offense to be perfect on every play except Quinn. Anytime any other player isn't perfect, and Quinn is unable to pick his teammate up by making a play, then it's obviously not Quinn, but everytime a WR or RB makes an incredible adjustment and catch to a Quinn wounded duck, Quinn did his job. Fuck your complete bullshit.
  10. Here's the thing, maybe try to score in fewer than 10+ plays, then you have less chances for penalties. Sarkisian offense is not meant to be a dink and dunk offense, it's meant to stretch teams vertically and horizontally. When you take away one of those components you are making it harder on the offense overall.
  11. He was 6/16 for 77 yards. The stats speak for themselves.
  12. It is unforunate, but really underscores the intelligent decision to make his contract a 1-year deal.
  13. He was clearly the weak link in the 2nd half, after Vanderbilt adjusted for the quick game. When your QB is incapable of stretching a defense vertically, it helps the defense out immensely. It also helps that the tape is out on Quinn when it comes to pressure looks, he wilts. Two sacks he took he had Golden wide open over the middle but couldn't pull the trigger. The color guy was all over it. We only attacked the middle of the field once after the 1st tipped INT, and it was an explosive play. Golden has been rendered useless because he works in the intermediate over the middle routes and Quinn never throws there.
  14. Saban for the most part didn't depend on his QB to drive a pro style offense. He won championships with plenty of JAGs at the position. When the rest of the SEC caught up to him and his defense, he needed more dynamic QBs and he made the switch in the championship game against Georgia to win another one.
  15. The flares to RBs are usually the last options in progressions. He's going from #1 read to checkdowns. It's Quinn and not the play calls. His mind doesn't trust the play call and scheme.
  16. 1 million percent. This is why penalties kill us, we are being forced to inch our way down the field, so even 5-yard penalties are completely fucking us. When you have to execute at a high percentage because you are not explosive in the passing or running game, it leads to more plays where a penalty can occur. We currently play the equivalent of a bend but don't break defense on offense.
  17. The problem is we aren't improving.
  18. Not with this OL and in the RZ.
  19. Thank you defense.
  20. What a fucking horrible playcall.
  21. I hate those predictable screens on 3rd and short.
  22. Make me eat my words Metchie.
  23. Fuck that looks bad for Diggs. So here we are again, same thing as last year, WR room down to one good player and a bunch of JAGs.
  24. They made a good point about the play clock. Once we got inside the RZ, we were breaking the huddle with under 10 seconds on the play clock. Not enough time to set protections. Got to get the play call in faster and out of the huddle.
