  1. Littrell is an Air Raid guy trying to run Lebby's Veer and Shoot. Venables likes the Veer and Shoot, but hated Lebby and Dillon Gabriel running it. The only reason Joe Jon Finley is on the coaching staff is because Venables wants to run some hybrid of the AR and VS, which is stupid because there aren't many similiarities between the two. According to the post game podcasts I've seen Littrell spent the off week trying to install more AR concepts for Hawkins, which simplifies things for the QB.
  2. I would say absolutely they fell for it, and I base this on how when Sarkisian went to misdirection to open the run game, it opened up the run game.
  3. and aggy played Florida that was missing their best WR and RB and most of their 2 deep in the secondary.
  4. Wingo is behind Bond and Bolden is behind Moore. Bond, Moore, and Golden have produced 51-767-9 so far on the season. Both of those guys are behind players that are producing. It's good to have 6 guys in the room so that when the backups come in the defense doesn't get plays off. The next 3, 31-510-5. Add in TEs with 25-339-2. This is a dream scenario for Texas. You want to maximize the offense, Sarkisian needs to move away from 12 personnel because Davis being on the field takes Moore, Bolden, or a RB off the field. We were much better against OU in 11 and 21 personnel.
  5. Is Cook surpassed? Maybe he has been, and maybe he shouldn't drop wide open TD passes. When you have the talent we do in the WR room, you need to maximize your chances.
  6. I am with you on the coupons. I had two buddies with me that did not attend either school, this was their 2nd time and they fucking hate the coupons. Just go to cash or pay apps, maybe by improving the cell signal at the park, they can move more towards pay apps.
  7. I mean that would be hilarious to hire a coach that was fired two weeks ago because he was coordinating an offense production that was on the same level as yours for incompetence. I mean holy shit, what were they expecting with an offensive staff of Bedenbaugh, Finley, Jones, Littrell, and Murray. None of those guys are elite.
  8. Predictable, after OU settled in their 3 high safety look, Sark tore them apart with misidirection in the run game. We fucking sat on the ball the entire 2nd half because OU's offense couldn't break the 50 without a TO or multiple penalties "called or uncalled."
  9. Mixon is a POS but he can run the fuck out of the ball.
  10. The best thing in college sports is the Oklahoma Trail of Tears.
  11. I am hoping that the 2025 version is vastly improved because the place is a shit hole that is not designed to hold 90K. I will also say the talent was on full display, but where are the titties in today's female college student?
  12. Another game that we should be in control of but too many penalties and stupid mistakes.
  13. I agree play games with the coverages and bring pressure. Sometimes it might just be edges winning against their shitty OTs, but we absolutely made a mistake against Williams. We got real gun shy after his long run on 4th down when he had him stopped twice and neither guy could make the tackle. The worst thing you can let a young QB do is let him sit in the pocket and get into a rhythym.
  14. 100% it was a work. Slightly less obvious than Lawler's fued with Kaufman.
  15. He's not getting that. He showed up for 2-1/2 months out of 6. His BB% was abysmal and he's already shown signs of losing what little athleticism he had. Last year proved that non generational players are now seen as a dime a dozen.
  16. Bring the occassional blitz to mix it up, but yeah I take Simmons/Vasek/Burke/Sorrell/Moore all day against their OTs.
  17. Played better, they ran the ball 32 times for 130 yards, with 48 coming early in the game on a chunk play. 31-82 is a shitty performance and I would take that in a heartbeat.
  18. Lulz, fuck no. OU is terrible running the football. Hawkins is averaging 3.6 yards per carry and he's their best threat. On the season, he has 28 carries for 101 yards, with 48 coming on one single play, meaning their best running threat on offense has 27 carries for 53 yeards on the season outside the one play against Auburn. They have no threats at WR, play a zone and force Hawkins to come off his 1st read. MSU likley has a better OL than OU does and we got 5 sacks against MSU.
  19. Payton Thorne carved them up to the tune of 338 yards and 3 TDs with a AY/A of 11, without the pick six Auburn wins that game.
  20. Not sure about that. OU has a shit offense just like Michigan. Michigan has a better defense with 3 likely 1st round picks and other draftable talent at each level. Michigan 15 with 2 losses - OFEI .11 - 41st, DFEI .54 - 8th, SFEI .10 - 8th OU at 18 with 1 loss - .08 47th, .50 - 10th, .11 - 3rd This is going to be a name your score game for Sarkisian, especially if we take care of the football like we did against Michigan.
  21. Michigan is a better version of OU and beat the shit out of them.
  22. The calls didn't help, but Missouri is not a top 25 team. Their games agaisnt Boston College and Vanderbilt were foreshadowing their coming decline. They could easily lose 2-3 more games this season.
