  1. Mookie Cooper has had a rough day.
  2. No way Rogers stays with them. Never have I seen a game turn so quickly on a shitty PI call. Missorui will struggle to .500 with their remaining schedule.
  3. Fran Brown was a better hire than Mike Elko.
  4. We were cheated out of another OT.
  5. That was for the chop block.
  6. Holy shit that is a horrible fucking call.
  7. Huge fucking penalty.
  8. What a drive.
  9. Great play by the LB for the interception. Maybe that's why OSU kicked him to the curb.
  10. And according to bWAR he was the 33rd most valuable player in all of baseball, and it's interesting you mentioned that he was 20th ranked SS in fWAR but that put him at 71st in all of baseball. Nice use of statistics to tell your side of the story. I never said he was a star, but we aren't missing Correa with him at SS either, and was the main offensive reason we won a title in 2022.
  11. 21 straight for the Rebs.
  12. Horrible throw by Gabriel.
  13. Yeah, they found some success early but the fucking TOs killed that momentum.
  14. You are underrating Pena big time here. He's not seen as the same as Correa, but has outproduced him in WAR 12.9 to 10.4 over the last 3 years. The biggest flaw in Pena's offense is his BB%, which is fixable. Likely with a different hitting coaches than the Astros currently have, those two guys saw regression across the board, they should be fired for it. He also had the 5th most chances among SSs in baseball and all their fielding percentages where in the same ballpark, except Tovar who had an incredible defensive season.
  15. We really need two from the following list to become a dependable MLB caliber players ala Pena or Diaz. Whitcomb, Dezenzo, Melton, and Matthews.
  16. This is exactly the same scenario. Let's see if Crane learned anything from McLane. If he did, trading Tucker and Framber would be the correct action.
  17. The problem with that is that Tucker and Framber suck in the playoffs. We now have multiple years of data.
  18. We had Bregman signed to a long term deal. Also, it's different to let a 27 year old in his prime walk compared to a 30 year old showing obvious signs of decline.
  19. Anyone thinking our skill position players that get significant playing time will leave are morons.
  20. This is correct. I don't hate Deion, I just think he is an idoit that talks too much shit for a coach that is 8-9 for his career in the FBS, and if anyone questions his shitty coaching and program building skills they are immediately labeled a hater. You need to be made of teflon when you coach at the P4 level instead he lashes out at reporters and bans them.
  21. Resgin Kikuchi. Trade Tucker, Pressly, and Framber Offer Bregman a QO and let him walk, because 30 year old unathletic 3B on the downsides of their career aren't in high demand. Returning pitchers from injury - Garcia, Urquidy, Javier, "McCullers", and Murfee FA - Verlander, Graveman, Heyward, Neris, Ferguson, Gamel I would target the Lowes in TBR Brandon is under team control for two more seasons with TO at $10.5M and $11.5M respectively, he plays LF Josh has 4 years of team control and is the new RF Go sign one of the vet 1Bs like Goldschmidt to a 2-year with both PO and TO on the 2nd year. Lineup is Lowe - LF Altuve - 2B Alvarez - DH Diaz - C Lowe - RF Goldschmidt - 1B Pena - SS McCormick - CF Dezenzo - 3B Bench - Caratini, Singleton, Dubon, the 13th spot goes to Leon or Whitcomb Rotation Brown, Kikuchi, Blanco, Arighetti, (Garcia, Javier, Urquidy, and Blubaugh) Bullpen CL - Hader 8 - Abreu MID - Whitley, Scott, King, Ort, Murfee LR - One of the guys that didn't take the 5th spot in the rotation.
  22. It was likely Hilson and we have one more Hi from back in the summer which is Terry.
  23. Similar move to when Dierker put in Mike Jackson in the 8th inning in game 1 in the 2001 NLDS.
  24. Yet most of his acquisitions worked out. Montero, Abreu, and Hader were all Crane acquisitions, two of which were on the team before Brown got the job. Brown should get a chance to clean up the mess Crane and the HOF cabal made in the last 2 off-seasons. Resigning Kikuchi should be item #1 in the offseason.
  25. It was the microcosm of the entire season. Having to depend on subs players and watching your manager piss away late inning situations by using the same people that failed him all season.
