  1. I'd offer him 5-125 and if he says no, move on.
  2. Holy shit, whatever the Dodgers are doing in developing their pitchers, I hope we are doing 100% the opposite. Gonsolin, Sheehan, May, Yamamoto, Buehler, Miller, and now River Ryan.
  3. Apparently, Graveman's camp is now saying he is working to be available before the playoffs. Interesting what he or Murfee could provide. Ort and King are pitching for their spots every time out, hell, Seth Martinez had a sub 3.00 era and he has no spot currently on the MLB roster, especially once Verlander comes back and claims Dubin's spot. My guess is a 6-man rotation for the 18 games in a row, then Blanco or Arighetti move into Martinez's old role of long man.
  4. Sv-Situation = good Hader. 7-1 road trip so far with 7 in a row. Without an idiot for manager we would be looking to sweep the road trip tomorrow.
  5. Maybe Pressly should stop throwing that slider.
  6. Espada loves to not use his better defensive players when it's time to use your better defensive players.
  7. If we are still tied after this inning I will consider this a win. No matter what happens, this should be Pressly's last batter.
  8. Not scoring with the bases loaded is going to cost us this game, isn't it?
  9. This has to be the worst OF threesome in baseball.
  10. Holy shit, that wasn't even fucking close.
  11. Dubin is our 5+ run closer. I'd resign him over Verlander in the offseason.
  12. Depends on what he wants, he's making $30M, and until this late surge he wasn't going to cover that cost in WAR this season.
  13. More like two good months, and a bunch of JAGgie effort thrown in.
  14. Appears one fan is less than impressed with Kirby's effort.
  15. Bregman loves August. Career 1.002 OPS in the month, also 37 38 HRs the most of any month in his career. Also, has 68 69 2Bs in the month, also the most by nearly 30 2Bs.
  16. Yeah, Vogt is going to be the run away winner and should be.
  17. or they are having an eating competition on Golden Corral wings.
  18. He played in two games and had 3 total tackles.
  19. They found a position he can excel in. Playing him in the box is a better fit for his skill set, it's also a skill set you don't overpay for, so when if blows up and wants money, you let him walk.
  20. Hader needs time off as well. Hader is 5 innings away from matching his total from last season. In fact he hasn't eclisped 60 IP in a single season since 2019, when he pitched 75.2. Espada has abused him so far. Which isn't a shock considering his splits. In Sv situations, 25/26 saves 0-1, 2.16 era, 25 IP 31/9 SO/BB, in non-Sv situations, 4-5, 5.13 era 26.1 IP 47/9 SO/BB
  21. I asked him a question based on what he said for clarification, why didn't you post that as well?
  22. Framber's WS performance against the Phillies is probably the closest thing to Scott's 86 NLCS.
