  1. Holy shit, Altuve wasn't even running hard. Seriously, he needs to sit the rest of this trip.
  2. Hey, 100Ks on the season for Abreu.
  3. Espada just going to let him lose the game. How do you let a reliever load the bases and not replace him?
  4. Great, now Abreu's velocity is down. Espada completely destroyed this bullpen.
  5. Keep Blubaugh in the rotation, France can be the long guy out of the bullpen.
  6. Lulz moving Altuve to 4th.
  7. Yeah, Stroh isn't him at LG. The only 3 guys on the line that should be getting guaranteed snaps are Goosby, Baker, and Campbell. The other two spots you have Hutson, Kibble, Neto, Stroh, and Robertson. I am guessing once Brooks gets back from his suspension he is going to be onboarded quickly.
  8. Good sir, I will have you know that Massachussetts is in the MAC. They are FBS G5. OU should fucking pummel Temple, but they should have fucking pummeled that FCS team they played in week one as well.
  9. ou can't run the ball for shit. 65 yards on 20 carries from their running backs. Justice Haynes had more on 1 rush that the entire room for OU. OU's entire offense is premised on hero ball play from Mateer.
  10. The entire 2024 season was Sarkisian changing his offense for the personnel he had on the team. We were a dink and dunk team that ran outside zone, because that was the skill talent we had. Ewers was not a deep shot thrower, and Baxter was out which took away our inside zone runner. We know have a QB that can hit the long balls and Baxter brings the physciality of the inside zone that sets up the playaction. Does Sarkisian need to incorporate more in breaking routes, yes. Especially to get ahead of the chains. That is what those screen passes are for, but the blocking on the perimeter is abysmal right now.
  11. Wulaw is just pissed because he likely lost a shit load of money betting on the Longhorns to cover. He sees everything through the lens of his gambling addiction.
  12. Pretty sure everyone was calling for him to benched after ou and fearing what Tech was going to do us. Even with the 4th and 18, why the fuck was Texas losing that game?
  13. Shit dude, it's call game reps. You can't ever replicate them in practice. It took Young 2 full seasons of them to become the icon he was in 2005.
  14. Nah, they need to tell Yordan, who is not actually a butcher in the OF, to spend the off-season preparing to play 120+ games out there. Altuve can no longer play anywhere in the field defensively, he is sieve that the team can't hide anymore behind his outstanding oWAR.
  15. He's missing Tank Dell. That dude took a lot of pressure off of Collins. He was also missing a big target at WR today in Kirk. We just can't keep our good WRs healthy enough to help Stroud out, not to mention the shit show we continue to put out in the 5 guys in front of him. I do think Demeco will ultimately be fired here because he just doesn't allow his offense to do anything worth a shit and prefers the FGs over TDs approach to coaching. Too many times, the 3rd down playcalling in the opponent's RZ is pedestrian. He's the defensive Tom Herman of the NFL, but shit at least he kicks the fucking FGs so his teams are never out of the game for the most part. I wish Sarkisian would take the fucking points when playing top teams.
  16. To be fair, Holmes was going to be the featured back in 1995, but tore up his knee during the off-season. When he came back both Mitchell and Ricky had established themselves with over 2300 total combined yards and 18 TDs. Holmes also worked his ass off to make in the NFL, he had a work ethic and maturity Blue has never shown.
  17. I don't understand Sakrisian's desire to make every fucking passing concept so fucking complicated or a shitty screen that fools no one. He also needs to retire the fake one way and throw it back to the RB blindly, as other teams have scouted the shit out of that play. I do think that Jesse had some good thoughts on Manning, as he left a lot on the field on Saturday. The dude has had 4 starts and is 3-1 in those games with 11 TDs and 4 INTs, while averaging 285 yards off offense. Ewers after his 1st 4 starts was at 9-2 and 204 yards of offense, also 3-1. Though it was interesting to see OU try our double reverse flea-flicker to the TE that we scored easily on in the Big 12 CG, so other teams including the NFL are stealing his stuff. It's an interesting point about the hybrid defenders, because I was relieved to finally see a RPO in the RZ that ended up as a slant to Livingstone for an easy TD.
  18. No shit, isn't that exactly what Livingstone did on Saturday? He made a cut, made the defender fall down and housed it running away from a guy that had the angle.
  19. He got torn up all game on Puca. The only chance we had in this game was if we had actually concussed him.
  20. Just have to laugh relying on your 5th string RB in crunch time.
  21. They are us, and winning on the road in the NFL against a similar talented team is very difficult. But the biggest reason is that our GM has done jack and shit to improve the OL. Fucking a.
  22. They could have thrown 2 flags there. Hi/lo late hits on Stroud.
  23. Just wish he would stop doing his best Ewers impersonation.
  24. No INT, ground helped him secure it.
  25. Another shitty sack by Stroud ran right into the rusher.
