  1. He'd likely be in the top 10 but clearly behind Altuve, Biggio, Bagwell, Wagner, and Ryan.
  2. Lulz at Bregman thinking he can strongarm the Astros into a better contract. I would tell Boras that every week that passes, he loses a year and $5M.
  3. Nah, the key to the season so far was Thompson taking over in the starting lineup for an injured Smith. Amen will be the unquestioned team leader next season, and is likely the star we have been after. He can guard 1-5 and has high level basketball IQ on both offense and defense. If he ever gets it to 33% and 80%, he's a MVP level player. Would love to see Thompson, Whitmore, Eason, Smith, and Sengun on the floor together.
  4. Johnson and Williams would make this team very deep.
  5. What a great day for basketball. UT storms back to beat aggy after trailing by 22. UH beats God's gift in 2OT in Lawrence. Rockets hold on to beat sweep the best in the Association, 2-0 in back to back.
  6. This Oregon vs. Minnesota game is horrible for the eyes.
  7. 100% agree. UH and aggy played a scrimmage this season, and UH beat the shit out of them. UH so far this season is 6th in 3P% while aggy is 303rd.
  8. Nah, they rely too much on offensive rebounding and officials burying their whistles to win games, they are UH-lite. They shot 52.2% from BTA and had 18 offensive rebounds and lost the game because they sent us to the line 17 times.
  9. We have too many guards. Pope, Larry, Johnson, and Mark should be the rotation. Weaver should be used in emergency break glass going forward. Then you have more than enough depth at 4-5 with Kaluma, Shedrick, Kent, Onyema. With Pryor and Codie getting 2-3 minutes a half in case of foul trouble. Larry had a 6/0 game with 3 rebounds and the key block on Taylor to give Texas a chance to win it. Weaver just can't deliver that kind of line when you also consider he's horrible at the FT line.
  10. Kent has 1 rebound, but damn if it wasn't key as it was offensive and led to 2 FTs. Really missed Kaluma on the boards. The guards need to help pick up the slack. 8 total rebounds is shitty effort. Larry with 6 AST and 0 TOs.
  11. This win help that out a lot.
  12. Chip Kelly makes a whole lot of sense.
  13. Yep, and a lot of the errors Pena had last year were throwing that likely would not have been with a better defensive 1B. Pena is an elite SS and the Astros would be stupid to move him to anywhere else on the field.
  14. Winker resigned with the Mets 2 or 3 days ago. Verdugo is the most likely addition at this point, with Altuve going to LF.
  15. The offense seems worse than Shaka's, I didn't think it was possible.
  16. Just to be clear, that production company has made $0 in profits since he started it, with the $40M is a low end estimate to how bad he is losing money there and that only considers the past two years when the company was founded in 2020.
  17. Lebron has lost nearly $40M the last two years with his production company, he's contributing jack and shit to NIL.
  18. Verdugo and Polanco please.
  19. This game was lost on that 1st bullshit PF and Fairbairn's inability to kick in cold weather. He's always been horrible outdoors and in inclement weather. Should have known he was going to choke hard today by the amount of clothes he was wearing, what a fucking pussy. OL coach needs to be fired, Slowick should be encouraged to find a soft landing spot, the entire OL needs to have open auditions, and Fairbairn needs to get cut.
  20. Great play by Woods.
  21. Mahomes is such a pussy.
  22. BS calls and no calls already. It's fucking ridiculous.
  23. Shannon looks promising as well. He looked really fluid for his size running routes before the Cotton Bowl. He seems like another Gunnar Helm, spend two years in S&C and then you are ready to make your mark. Helm had 19-236-2 through 4 years on campus.
  24. If you are trading for Durant, Smith and Whitmore are the two guys you are offering along with Van Vleet for the money to work. Durant would be taking Smith's spot anyway. Your starting 5 would be Green, Brooks, Thompson, Durant, and Sengun.
  25. Smith is getting Pipp'd. Don't see how he gets his spot back when he returns from injury. Thompson is such an elite athlete for a 4.
