  1. Smokestack is pretty good also.. I never said those 3 were the best in Texas. They just happened to be near places I do business ventures. I could probably name 100s of other places that are just as good. Those 3 are always packed to the brim so I guess there are a few others that like them also. By the way you didn't mention Western Sky in San Angelo. You said all 3. Can't imagine what you didn't like there. Try a plate of Tenders sometime. They were damn sure good last week. Dieter Brothers, Smoking Republic Steakhouse, Copperhead Bar, and Smokehouse BBQ are great places to eat around Lindsay TX just to name a few more.

  3. Yes. My father was wounded 3 times. The last time was a very serious wound in hand to hand combat. Only 3 men survived in his Company from D-Day until VE-Day.
  4. A Texas State trooper pulled a car over about 2 miles south of Waco Texas. When the trooper asked the driver why he was speeding, the driver said he was a Magician and Juggler and was on his way to Austin Texas to do a charity show. He didn’t want to be late. The trooper told the driver he was fascinated by juggling and said if the driver would do a little juggling for him then he wouldn’t give him a ticket. While the man was juggling, a car pulled in behind the State Troopers car. A drunken boy got out, watched the performance, then went over to the Trooper’s car, opened the rear door and got in. The trooper observed him and went over to the State car, opened the door asking the drunk what he thought he was doing. The drunk replied, “You might as well take my ass to jail, cause there ain’t no way I can pass that test.”
  5. Texas A&M got into a battle with the Longhorns and started throwing grenades. So the Longhorns took the pins out and threw them back.
  6. Two men from Texas were sitting at a bar Two men from Texas were sitting at a bar, when a young lady nearby began to choke on a hamburger. She gasped and gagged, and one Texan turned to the other and said, ‟That little gal is havin’ a bad time. I am a gonna go over there and help.” He ran over to the young lady, held both sides of her head in his big, Texan hands, and asked, ‟Kin ya swaller?” Gasping, she shook her head no. He asked, ‟Kin ya breathe?” Still gasping, she again shook her head no. With that, he yanked up her skirt, pulled down her panties and licked her on the butt. The young woman was so shocked that she coughed up the pece of hamburger and began to breathe on her own. The Texan sat back down with his friend and said, ‟Ya know, it is sure amazin’ how that hind-lick manoeuvre always works.”

  11. Anyone familiar with Custom made Bench Rifles from the 60s or early 70s. This Rifle has a Super Target Spot Scope and Custom Shilen Bull Barrel, stamped 222.7 Serial # on gun is 79. I believe this was built by RW Hart. Has a 222.7 Shilen stainless I inherited this gun 20 years ago and it's always been stored in a rifle safe. Also have another in 308 cal. The 222.7 I expect is a custom caliber. Can it be redone for 223 or another caliber? It weighs a ton.
