  1. The OP said best pocket knives The posters here talking about their fixed blade knives need to know, they are certainly ruff on the jewels when carried in your pocket. Especially bending and squatting. Ouch!
  2. You do know they have to be cleaned and maintained. Change the honey comb pads every year also.
  3. The outdoor swamp cooler will be fine outdoors. Every football and soccer teams use them on the sidelines during the summer and fall. I looked at some last year at Home Depot.
  4. CW Post could never been successful if it wasn't for his neighbor Gail Borden. Borden was one of the first to bottle milk. They named the tiny Town Gail, after him and the County Borden. Post, Texas was named after C.W. Post. The City if Post is in Garza County next door to Borden County. Now you have your cereal with milk.
  5. Wonder if she was on her way to Walmart?
  6. That's seems high to me. I would just do it myself. But WTF I'm retired and I like to stay busy. That's about a 4 day, 6 thirty pack job.
  7. Use the ballistic tip and they go down pretty good. I have killed over 100 the last few years. I know there is all these other fancy name rifles with big ass shells, but I like my AR It takes a pounding in the Truck, in the tractor, on the 4 wheeler and onthe side by side. Still reliable and highly accurate.
  8. Chicken wire don't stop anything You can buy vents that have caps that breath underneath the edges. Wrap a bubble of hail screen around the cap. Or you can just wait on the giant water roaches, snakes, squirrels, and the murder Hornets to invade your Casa. Don't say I didn't want you.
  9. That is correct. We wanted to go to the 75th celebration last year but couldn't make it because of wife's health. A friend brought me vials of beach sand from Omaha in memory of my Dad.
  10. I can guarantee you the snake came down the roof vent pipe. So do giant water roaches. You would be surprised what falls or climbs down sewer vent pipes. I had squirrels that fell down the vents regularly until I installed the hail screen covers. I you have large trees around your house you have these risk. Google... Giant snake in San Angelo sewer pipe. If one of these comes up in your Toilet you will turn up the (RPM's) and you will violate your perimeters.
  11. Always fat side up. You protect the flat with temp.
  12. Did you miss the freekin part about this was at his ranch house. On our Ranches we prefer to have rat snakes, owls and other predators around our homes and barns to control the mice and rats.
  13. Why kill a harmless mouse snake. You can catch and release outside.
  14. My dad was onboard one of the many ships headed to Normandy. He was preparing his mind and gear for the first landing wave at around 6:00AM on Omaha beach. I have spoke before about this event as it did not go well for the 29th division. They received more casualties than any other group, by far.
  15. I wish they would prey on these dang feral hogs. I have killed over 15 hogs the last 2 weeks and they just keep coming. The buzzards do appreciate though. They can hardly fly because they are so fat.
  16. Get you a set of snake catchers at tractor supply. Don't use the glue board as it will kill it. Secure its head and grab the neck and toss it outside. It want hurt you. Flush some moth balls down into the septic tank and put a hail screen cap on the roof vent.
  17. https://photos.app.goo.gl/t6p4TMkv1WGfye9z6 Different POW camp than this one
  18. From my research the Great Escape was mostly an accurate account. Not sure about the Dirty Dozen. It was a good movie for sure, but I have know idea if anything similar ever happened.
  19. My cousin was interested in a electric hunting club car. Wander if this would work.
