  1. Maybe 100 years ago.....basically, if you're a light Latina, idiots think you are.
  2. Well duh, I'm Latina, so I was born saucy. Aren't there women on this board? We have a big circle of us that follow recruiting like bat-shit crazy die-hards, that consider signing day a national holiday, and live and die by every win and loss. Cooking and feeding a bunch of guys with connections to the program on game day, and on the boards, we pick up great info along the way, form long time friendships with guys in the recruiting business.
  3. Haha.....good thing that "locks" like De'Anthony Thomas and DeSean Jackson stuck with USC.......oh, wait.
  4. Come on guys, you're more sophisticated than that....recruiting can change on a dime, and I've stated repeatedly that there is no such thing as a LOCK. All I have ever said about Bru is that (according to knowledgeable sources) it would be a shock if Bru chose another college other than USC. All I'm reporting is what I heard. He really likes Texas. It will be difficult to pull him as of now, but that can change at any time. Following recruiting is big boy business, you have to be prepared for all it turns and curves. I'm reporting on the interest. I hate trolls, and have little patience for them, if you don't realize that by now, you haven't been paying attention. The only thing I attempt to provide is the SoCal slant, nothing more, nothing less.
  5. You guys have to read this article on Bru.....I know it's Bleacher Report, but Mike is a quality writer. SC guy (Mike) would eat with us at our tailgate on gamedays. I'm hearing Bru really likes Texas.... https://syndication.bleacherreport.com/amp/2782979-5-star-bru-mccoy-is-a-2-way-superstar-athlete-in-great-demand.amp.html?__twitter_impression=true
  6. I could have told the bRUIN, 50-0 you guys wouldn't like that reminder. I, on the other hand, was cheering for the good guys.
  7. It would be a shock if he commits anywhere other than USC.
  8. I seriously doubt it was someone out of USC. Scott Schrader (he missed on only one projection in the 2018 class) projected Chris to USC in October, Greg Biggins just posted on Premium that Chris was as close to a lock for USC as it can get. He put 2 plus 2 together, it wasn't hard. The interviews with Chris after his official this weekend sounded like a commitment video. Swanson took a calculated guess, and lost, that's what he does....he has been barred from the USC campus before, and now because of this leak, parents of recruits, the recruits and our current players are blocking him on Twitter as well as denying him access. by the way, Oklahoma was never really in it, liking a visit (he liked all his visits) is far from actually wanting to attend the school.
  9. The guy is a prick. He just had numerous players and parents block him, and by extension, Rivals.
  10. It wasn't just Cody, Matt said there were several defensive players shouting out to "just end it now", and Jason White said in an interview that "number 58" (Lofa Tatupu) was calling out the offensive plays before he could, the Trojan defense knew exactly the next play call. Although my avatar is of a USC player, I felt it was fitting on this site, that it be a flexing Lofa over the body of Jason White. Lol.
  11. Thank you for conceding a player that was never yours to concede....asshole.
  12. Rising Stars....but they have to pull Chris from the clutches of our coaches. Chris will not be participating, he’s going to “hang out” with our coaches.
  13. Chris genuinely likes the Gators...but this recruitment is very much like Adoree’ Jackson’s, he will say all the right things, but he was at USC Monday for a few hours, then from 2:00 - 7:00pm the next day, then will return for the Rising Stars camp to hang out with our coaches. Every school he visits, thinks he will sign with them. of course, every one has a chance, but he recently said in a premium interview, (paraphrasing) that he wants to go to a school where he’ll be exposed to corporate entrepreneurs, “the next Bill Gates” and would feel he has wasted an opportunity by surrounding himself with football players only. Los Angeles works against us in many cases, not this one.
  14. Congratulations Horns, you got a good one!
  15. How about student safety. Not many large universities are located right in the heart of the second most densely populated cities in the country. Over 50% of those spoiled bitches volunteer in and around the surrounding community, winning College of the Year in 2000 for it's extensive community services. Survival.
  16. That's because most of the top 4 & 5* recruits in our area want to wait till LOI day. Clay also puts zero pressure on these kids to commit early, encourages them to take all their visits. It can and has worked against us.
  17. USC created their own little city within the city type thing, no reason for any student to wander the surrounding neighborhoods, (Which I've heard incoming Freshmen are warned about) just uber to the best parts of LA, then back to campus. You are spot on. USC provides free uber to all students. There is also free shuttles to L.A. Live that picks up and drops off at the school. The university just completed the USC Village across the street that is mixed use of student housing, residential colleges, retail stores, restaurants and other specialty businesses. Trader Joe's, Target, Wahlburgers and Trejo's Tacos are just a few of the businesses within the Village.
  18. Surprised you would think this was anything but a compliment.......something USC can never compete with. As much as L.A. can attract players, it works equally against us. I loved Austin for those same reasons, but I did feel it had a young, hip vibe that would make it a great place to live for 3-4 years.
