  1. Exactly. MAGA are like aggy, and the rest of the country are like Longhorns. They know we've got it better than they do, and we're smarter than they are, and they resent the hell out of it. So, they don't mind losing, as long as we lose more. The same way that aggy would be perfectly content to go 5-7 if Texas went 2-10, these people don't mind being squeezed on inflation or even laid off, as long as they can see a libtard being deported or losing her civil rights.
  2. You're not racists because we don't like you. We don't like you because you're racists. Among other reasons.
  3. You'd have to be bona fide stupid or bona fide racist. Or maybe all you care about is guns being legal and/or abortion being illegal, or your tax cut, so you're willing to overlook the rest of the trainwreck because you got what you wanted. You're definitely fucked up in one way or another if you're still MAGA after all of this.
  4. Putin, for all his faults, is a patriot. And he's extremely intelligent. And he is probably the wealthiest man on Earth. Trump is a nobody compared to Putin. Trump is the useful idiot figurehead for the Fox News movement: a charismatic con man who was in the right place at the right time.
  5. Gavin Newsome will probably never be President, but he is 2025 Internet Trolling Champion for sure. Sorry, Helobious.
  6. MTG and Lauren Boebert are holding on lines 1 and 2. Josh Hawley is on line 3. RFK is on 4. Don, Jr is on 5. Eric is on 6 and 7. Alex Jones is on 8. A guy from AT&T ready to sell a package of 40,000 business lines is on 9. Etc...
  7. This would be true if we were going to have a straight mid-term election. By then, the gerrymandering will be complete, mail-in ballots will be illegal, and the polling places will be secured by ICE agents, or maybe even National Guard, "to protect against Antifa threats to our democracy," which is code for "make sure minorities don't vote." I don't think the Dems are taking back Congress in 2026 or the White House in 2028. They didn't engineer all of this shit to have total control for 2 years then start giving it back. I keep saying that the GOP has been playing the long game for about 30 years, and this isn't the end game. It's the middle.
  8. The problem is that a lot of people who rely on government checks may stop getting them. Government workers may be furloughed or laid off. Etc. I understand that a lot of us are in FAFO mode when it comes to MAGA getting consequences (including me), but many of the people who could suffer now are single moms, senior citizens, etc, who didn't do anything wrong.
  9. I was gonna say, right or wrong, people actually liked Charlie Kirk. Pete Hegseth could fall off the planet and it would be several days before anyone noticed. No one is gunning for you, chief.
  10. I think I broke my penis.
  11. EXACTLY! This is your moment, guys. But the truth is that they don't mind a tyrannical government at all, as long as they agree with the direction the tyranny is pointed.
  12. That is good, I guess, but the very rhetoric of referring to Americans he disagrees with as "the enemy within" and talking about using the military to "quell" them is chilling. They're starting to talk about what we've all been afraid of, out in the open, and every time they do it is a step toward normalizing it.
  13. This seems like one of the major turning points as we race toward a very dark chapter.
  14. I think the concern is that the Federal Government is using the phrase "The Radical Left" in an official post. This is extremely dangerous rhetoric, and it's spreading.
  15. Jesus tapdancing Christ. It's like a 10-year-old child found a wallet with 3 billion dollars and the presidency in it.
  16. Sure, but no one listens to Democrats except Democrats. That point, while valid, will never reach a single person who needs to hear it and think about it.
  17. I agree with the OP. I've been an MMA fan since the beginning. My first UFC PPV was UFC 2. My buddy was like, you've got to check this out, it's like boxing but no rules, a real fight! He'd ordered the first one out of curiosity. We watched the second one and we've been hooked ever since. That was like 1993. I stayed hooked through the Pride FC years, the Ultimate Fighter show and the explosive growth in popularity, etc. I don't even think I can follow the sport anymore, knowing what a piece of shit Dana White is, and a lot of the fighters, too. I just find myself not caring to tune in anymore. Maybe I can just root for the Brazilians and European fighters now, but I kinda don't want to give that fat Boston fake tough guy moron another nickle. Fuck you very much, MAGA.
  18. He would be in over his head in a game of checkers against a wall.
  19. I didn't say "the US has mental health issues like everyone does." I said everywhere has mental health issues. Obviously, they're going to be different in different societies. And I'm not saying that mental illness isn't part of the equation. Of course it is. But every country on Earth has significant percentages of mentally ill and/or unstable people. Only one country has an epidemic of mass shootings. And that is the country with easy access to guns. So, the gun nuts' argument -- that it's a mental illness problem, not a gun problem -- is absolute horseshit. It's a gun problem. And everyone knows it, including the people saying it's not really a gun problem.
  20. [This isn't directed to anyone in particular, but it needs to be pointed out every single time this happens] Mass shootings are not primarily a mental health issue. Every other country has mental health issues. Every other country has youth playing violent video games and listening to gangster rap and heavy metal. Mass shootings are an epidemic here, and only here, because this is literally the only nation on Earth where almost anyone can buy an assault rifle in a sporting goods store. And please don't try to post a couple of outlier shootings in other countries as some sort of pathetic attempt at a counterargument. The easiest access to guns, by far = the most gun deaths, by far. It is exactly that simple. If you like your guns so much that you just don't care, then have the balls to admit it.
  21. But wasn't his dad roommates with Shipley's dad or something?
