And the thing is that literally every liberal I've ever talked to agrees that Hillary probably should have gotten some sort of consequence for that. And Hunter Biden deserved to be investigated, and if he did anything wrong, imprisoned. And the same goes for his dad, if he was involved.
But I have never heard a single Republican admit that Trump deserved any consequences, or even an investigation, for anything.
My favorite thing to do with Republicans is just ask them, everything else aside, do you believe that Donald Trump is a good man? Simple yes or no, is he a decent human being, a good man?
Then watch them squirm, because there isn't a Jesse Watters talking point for that, and they know they can't say, "Yes, I believe that he is."
This is a serious problem. If basic integrity isn't the first test a candidate has to pass, then we are lost. If people will vote for and defend a man that they know to be a bad person simply because he gives them what they want (they believe), then we are lost. There is no bringing these people back to sanity.
