Typical boring, non-contact soccer match. Nobody ever scores. This sport sucks.

Man, the Albanians worked their asses off. If the gas tank holds up, they can win this thing.
  3. When an aggy can say this to you and we all nod in agreement rather that pointing out the irony, man, do you need a new screen name. This one is fucking cooked.
  4. "I'm told by a team source that it's unlikely that either player will miss any time" is the least breaking news ever.
  5. "If the numbers implied by our COVID polling are correct, the vaccines killed more people worldwide than Jews killed in the Holocaust." I don't think the Jews killed anyone during the Holocaust, so this may accidentally be correct. But it's absolutely amazing what people will believe.
  6. And Michelle hangs her dark brown shoulders out in public like a whore, which is different from respectable, family values white shoulders out in public. Y'all see the difference, right? One of these women oughtta be ashamed of herself...
  7. LOL at there being any incompletions against Colorado State.
  8. Trying to drive redneck voter turnout by scaring them with a black person who isn't even in the race is peak Fox News.
  9. No, because that would infringe on Republicans' individual liberties. It's everybody else's individual liberties that don't count.
  10. Of course. Start with the conclusion and go looking for evidence that supports it. All contrary evidence is actually proof of cover-up or persecution. It's the "my religion is true" model.
  11. So, if the libtards let him walk (because clearly they control all courtrooms), it's a double standard and Trump was the victim of a political witch hunt. And if the libtards convict him, it's only to justify making Trump the victim of a political witch hunt. It kinda makes sense, if you're a fucking idiot.
  12. I only have medium money, and no power, but I play the guitar, so, yeah.
  13. Exactly. This is why I say this ultra right wing bullshit can become a problem even if Trump loses. I just think it goes to warp speed if he wins. It sure seems like the world is willingly, gleefully steaming full speed ahead toward another world war over fascism.
  14. This transcends race. I don't want my country to become that brown people place! These people are fucking dangerous, and their audience is growing. This is going to be a real problem if Trump wins again, and maybe even if he doesn't.
  15. Jared was in a lot of trouble, but he was still intelligently defending himself and trying to buy some time. Definitely an early stoppage.
  16. Body kick to uppercut to GnP. Thanks for coming.
  17. Pretty good free card tonight. Early prelims on ESPN+ right now.
  18. And that's fine. I think we agree on a lot of it, and we don't have to agree on the rest.
  19. Oh, there's no getting it back down. I'm talking about stopping the annual deficit from adding to it. What I suggested above is a way to balance the budget by increasing the money coming in, rather than cutting the money going out (except for defense, which absolutely can take a healthy cut without putting any monsters at our gate). I agree that the debt is a huge problem. But the bigger problem is that a) most people don't understand it, which allows for b) the people making the decisions to not give a shit about it. They really are running this thing like a corporation. We're the shareholders who will lose everything. They're the C-Suite who will milk it for whatever they can, then cash a massive check on their way out of the burning wreckage. Perhaps I'm getting cynical in my middle age. But the solutions are obvious. We can argue about the order of priority, but there are many solutions that will work, or at least help, and fucking zero of them will ever happen.
  20. The changes needed to balance the budget are really obvious: cut military spending significantly, increase corporate taxes significantly, raise the capital gain tax a moderate amount (something like from 15% to 20%), and eliminate the estate tax exemption. The reason that will never happen is equally obvious: everyone in Congress has one thing in common -- they are wealthy investors. Even "rags to riches" AOC immediately started earning $170k per year, plus whatever she makes from speaking engagements, book deals, etc. Hell, most of them are still partners in law practices. If anyone in either chamber filed for less than $250k last year, I'd be shocked. Of course these people aren't going to raise the capital gains tax on their own investments, or volunteer to pay more taxes on the millions they inherit from their Yale secret society douchebag dads. And of course they're not going to vote to raise corporate taxes, or their campaign donations go bye bye. They don't really give a shit about the military spending, except that cutting that loses you an election, because people are brainwashed and stupid. And they certainly don't give half a shit about the spiraling debt or the interest on it. This country exists for them to profit from for as long as possible, and if they sink it, they'll ride their golden parachute payouts to one of their other homes abroad.
  21. Abby Phillip is a complete badass.
