All these people who can't believe Trump lied to them are a product of living in the Fox News misinformation bubble.
We're all like, "Of course he lied to you -- that's what he does, stupid. How could you not see this coming?"
But they really didn't, because they've never heard the litany of stories about how Trump has treated past business partners, etc. It's amazing how Fox News was able to create a semi-fictional reality and convince a hundred million people that they lived in it.
But even as I type that, I still can't manage to drum up an ounce of compassion for these people. Yeah, they were hoodwinked by Fox, and they're being hoodwinked again by Trump, Musk, and a bunch of other colossal assholes. But decent people did try to reach them. They called the people who tried to save them libtards, Communists, intellectual elitists, and more. They wouldn't even take two seconds to put a mask on during a pandemic, and they cheered on the incarceration of brown women and children at the border. And they were so god damned smug about all of it.
