  1. Where are y'all getting wood for your smoker? Specifically looking for properly aged Post Oak that I can pick up and load myself. Central Texas preferred, but willing to drive a few hours for a good source.
  2. Unless your spice tolerance tends toward Minnesotan, NM style Mexican food is fucking awesome.
  3. Akina is a phenomenal man-to-man coach. Always has been. Akina is a dogshit zone coach. Always has been. Akina is the same dude he was a decade ago, but mixing zones and disguising coverage are even more critical now.
  4. Aside from the toilet, a shower is the only other place to trust a fart. Worst case, the solution is a wafflestomp away.
  5. Sliding doors moment. You could have been Pato del Vida. Which ironically makes the whole thing into an extended IQ test.
  6. Student loan reform/forgiveness should be paired with a program of low interest, potentially forgivable, loans to start small businesses, plus increased emphasis on community college and trade school funding to both keep overall costs down, and to grow our next generation of small businesses and trades as well. That would be extremely popular and pay huge dividends to help replenish our rapidly eroding middle class tax base.
  7. FYI in case you see her again later, they call themselves DinΓ©. Navajo is what the Spanish called them.
  8. csb, but 4th and 18 against Kansas was the last time I was ever worried about whether VY would pull a miracle. Watched every game after that completely serene, knowing Vince wouldn't let us lose.
  9. Goddamnit @Nicole44
  10. We should collaborate. I just realized pterosaurs made chemtrails when they flew and that's why God said not to bring any on the Ark.
  11. Yes, but Saban is probably the only exception. If he came back, with big NIL support, there would be massive transfer interest. Plus, his current gig exposes him to teams and players all across the country, so he's got up to date info on all those potential transfers. Saban is going to stay retired, but if he did jump back into the right spot, he'd playing for titles by year 2, def by 3.
  12. I don't know, but it wouldn't surprise me if he took the Penn State job. I would certainly be looking to get out, but Penn State would be near last of my list. But that's based on personal and moral reasons. Neither Baylor, nor Penn State should be allowed to have football teams. Setting that aside, it's a great job. Western PA and Penn State support is very cult-like and most of the same advantages aggy has, with some of the same disadvantages. He's never going to be able to eat at a restaurant without being recognized either place, but talking to strangers is a bit different in the Northeast. Penn State fans are more likely to leave him alone, or accept quick pleasantries. Smaller recruiting pool locally, but no other in-state school, or really NE school period. Available talent would probably be an upgrade, especially since he takes his current recruiting contacts with him. Ample money for NIL and 2 big cities in the state. Both NFL, but no other college football option vs them being best case #2 in TX, even if running at their peak.
  13. We'll find out this offseason if Elko went back to aggy for their strange, or if he knew from his previous experience that the other resources were there and he could win in spite of their strange. I think it's the latter.

    A&M at LSU on ABC

The irresistible force meets the unsinkable object.
  15. Final straw was a speech at a high dollar donor event. He was plastered and could barely speak. Couldn't hide it anymore after that.
  16. If it isn't something like that, it's unfathomable incompetence for the coaches to allow someone worse than Stroh to eat up 4 years of scholarship and then come in to the season intending him to be the starter anyway.
  17. If they want to run as a Dem though, it'd be a good idea to cover up the Ivermectin tattoo.

I'm not either, but I am if he's not willing to make major changes. Sark is in year 5 with a hefty team payroll, hand picked QB and OL coaches and his offense is dreadful. Everyone can see it, but Sark. If he's going to be willfully ignorant, he's simply not the guy. Might as well start the countdown. Sark has known for years we'd be replacing most of our line this season and we have the ability and resources, to acquire experienced, good linemen from the portal. Sark and Flood chose to roll with this group of elephants on roller skates. What really sucks about it is, there will never be a better time to sell the TX program to portal OL. 4/5 out of OL drafted. Can sell playing time and immediate NFL prospects. Sark and Flood made it much worse though. They chose to give Neto first team reps at LG until right before the season started, then swapped in Connor Stroh at the last minute, who immediately, and repeatedly, showed he's not remotely capable of playing at this level right now. Then they left that poor bastard out there as a human turnstile, giving the defense a free run at our M.A.S.H unit RB room and our inexperienced franchise QB. Then, despite everyone knowing Stroh was going to be a huge disaster at Florida, they let it happen, before throwing Brooks out at a position he doesn't even play, risking the confidence of a good tackle prospect. Is it scheme, talent, development, roster management/players too young? Doesn't matter, all of those are Sark's responsibility and should not be an issue in year 5. If/when Sark gets fired, we're going to look back on his OL roster management this year as a season long version of Charlie deciding to kick off both halves.
  19. Banks is a fucking clown.
  20. It's not incompetence. It's corruption.
  21. Hope the confidence from this carries over and he starts fielding more of the punts he's been letting roll.
  22. Taaffe having himself a game.
