  1. The MALD missile can mimic radar signatures for just about anything and has been in use since 2009. It's a 14-year old weapon we're willing to let Ukraine use and reveal capabilities to the Russians/Chinese. That strongly suggests the military has something much better in the works that we don't know about. Occam's razor says most of these sightings are our new tech. It's not breaking the laws of physics, but it is giving the appearance that it is.
  2. I've mentioned before that the Shahed delta wing design is really inefficient and produces a lot of unnecessary drag due to the triangle shape, but is good at pitch (nose up/down), which is beneficial for accurately descending to hit a target. This Ukrainian design has the same pitch strengths (that's a main reason for the front wings), but is much more efficient with less drag. Both sets of wings are high aspect ratio, much longer along the wingspan than they are wide. That produces a higher percentage of lift, relative to drag across the wing. Less drag = more range. There's also less to hit with anti-aircraft weapons than a delta wing. TL/DR This is a good design. The Ukrainians are smart motherfuckers.
  3. Anyone on the fence about whether the GQP is coming for birth control need only to Google/Duck, Duck, Go it. There are shit tons of results. AG candidates, Senators, Supreme Court Justices, House Representatives. This is just a few of many from a very quick perusal. Supreme Court https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2022/06/24/contraception-supreme-court-clarence-thomas-griswold/ US Senator https://www.newsweek.com/blackburn-says-scotus-ruling-protect-birth-control-couples-unsound-1690259 US House https://www.huffpost.com/entry/house-republicans-voted-against-birth-control-protections_n_62d84d4be4b03dbb9913f86d US Senators https://www.axios.com/2022/07/27/birth-control-bill-senate
  4. We should nationalize Space X and Starlink. It's crystal clear at this point that Elon owning them is a national security threat.
  5. Putin's mouth is writing checks his ass can't cash again. I guess he's having memory issues, because this is the last time the Russians fucked around and found out.
  6. He's a narcissistic moron who would refuse to listen to good advice, even if one of his employees gave it to him, which they won't, because he'll fire them immediately.
  7. Artillery/Arta. It's even better with the lyrics translated. A Muscovite was walking near the forest, Looking for an adventure, The sun shone in the sky Wonderful weather! (in Russian) Suddenly he's fucked The earth begins to tremble A shell had hit A young Muscovite. Chorus And the Muscovite is gone, There's no more Muscovite, There is nothing fucking left, There's only earth, Artillery is working, The boys are fucking them up One less katzap left, And the other shit his himself The Muscovite is hiding in a trench, And holding a Kalishnikov His body is full of tattoos, And weed is in his pocket, Suddenly it banged And land was blown into the air The earth has swallowed up A young Muscovite. Chorus A column of vehicles is coming, Paratroopers from Pskov, And in the bushes, GRU agents are hiding, Suddenly it banged, And the engines halted Paratroopers got fucked so hard, Their under pants were burning. Chorus A katzap mortar unit Was lined up The fuckers are happy Their deployment almost done Suddenly it banged, And their lives were cut short, And with it all their health, For this combat moskal.
  8. Stochastic terrorism coming home to roost.
  9. About one and a half Houstons to go on the Zaporizhya/College Station front.
  10. AKA the Texas A&M recruiting strategy.
  11. It's obviously Melania. The Trump kids are stupid, but they don't use that much broken English. "I saw you put boxes to Potus room. Just FYI and I will tell him as well. Not sure how many he wants to take on Friday on the plane. We will NOT have a room for them. Plane will be full with luggage." Nauta thanks her and says "Good Afternoon Ma'am"
  12. They should go with the footage of him on the waterslide and in the pool. It'll make it more believable.
  13. One constant all the lawyers talking about it have said is that the feds don't like to charge something they aren't fairly positive they can convict on. My non-lawyer take on it is that Smith may have known some of this, but didn't think it was something he could easily convict on, so he left it out previously. New info has likely surfaced recently that has made him more confident he can convict on these charges. Maybe that's someone that flipped (easiest guess is Trump employees 4 and/or 5 that are mentioned in the indictment, 4 especially given the below section from the indictment). Maybe wire taps have revealed corroborating evidence. Maybe it's something else, but Smith isn't the kind to fuck around. He's going to be thorough and pursue every lead. Something has changed and strengthened his case on these specific charges. Can't wait for the trial where we'll get to see what it is.
  14. Another fun fact... Lateral (towards the outside) movement of the eye is controlled by cranial nerve VI, the abducens nerve. Moving the eye laterally is the only thing that nerve does. All but one of the other eye muscles are controlled by cranial nerve III, the oculomotor nerve. My speciality is anatomy, so I can't really address why McConnell is exhibiting this symptom. However, from the front shot posted above, it does look like McConnell has control of one of the nerves, but not the other. I know @ChiTownDoc works with people that have had strokes. Maybe he has experience with something similar.
  15. That actually improves the look of some of those troglodytes
  16. The perils of paleontology. I've spent a lot of time in the collections rooms at museums. Sometimes uncomfortably close to where people were working on turtles. I also took an osteology and evolution of turtles class at UT and spent a semester in the same room with turtle bones. Turtles are cool as shit, but if I never smell another one again, I'm okay with it.
  17. We already send way more federal money to red states than they contribute. We can subsidize it and still make money in the long run. We need to name the relocation program something like "Super Patriot Freedom Express" so they don't think it's socialism though.
  18. Also little known fact, most reptile bones don't smell like much of anything, but turtle bones smell awful. They are greasy and stink up the hallway out side the room someone is looking at them in. Kind of like McConnell's shart.
  19. Losing Mitch would be a huge loss for them. He's been a master at wrangling the insanity, using it as a screen and producing results that are horrid for the country. No other Republican senator could have come close to ruining everything McConnell has ruined. The only thing I feel bad about here is that McConnell has access to world class healthcare after spending decades making sure other Americans don't have access to any medical care. Fuck him. The sooner McConnell is gone, the better for the future of America. Rot in peace motherfucker.
  20. Hopefully Pringles visits the front soon and Ukraine can use a HIMARS to give Pringles tungsten balls in his dick too. And his everywhere else.
  21. The House of Saud doesn't care about the money, but they financed it so they could turn Twitter into controlled opposition. Their plan was to be able to control the messaging and read the DMs of dissidents and criticizers of Saudi policies. Possibly find some good stuff to use as blackmail. Twitter becoming a Nazi infested shithole changes that. None of the people they wanted to control and spy on will be using Twitter much longer, if they still are. They could lose 10 times the money and not bat an eye, but I am positive they are super pissed at losing the access and control. Maybe they'll invite Elon to meet with them in a Turkish Embassy.
