  1. That last bit of cool Facebook had died, when people's parents and grandparents started cluttering feeds and comments. Fitting that Elon's mom will be posting away while Twitter burns.
  2. 5 more points. Let's send the Louisville and Nebraska fans home sad.
  3. Pay for downvoting program. Seems like a good way for some oligarchs to financially shadowban any causes they don't like.
  4. Agreed. It's an empty threat. How many dozens of times has that supposedly been the Russian red line, only to find out they are full of shit? Spoiler alert, they are full of shit. They are always full of shit. If Russia is constantly squawking about something, they are lying. Putin is a coward. He doesn't want to die. Look at his Eternity Tables for any meetings. Even if he did, his subordinates know the war is lost. Anyone who follows an order from Putin to use nukes will be a pariah and tried at the Hague if they ever leave Russian territory. That's if they even survive the retribution. The West would respond proportionally to the nuke militarily, but we would crush what remains of the Russian economy. Sanctions would make sure no one, but Iran, North Korea and Belarus will trade anything with him. In contrast, Ukraine would get a bunch of fancy new toys. Nukes work best as a threat, because you can only shoot the hostages once. Use a nuke and Putin is out the last of his leverage. Unfortunately for Putin, he's used the threat so many times, it's lost any value.
  5. It's ludicrous that we rely on any billionaire for a national security asset like spaceflight. We now have a Space Force, but rely on some fickle dickbag to launch anything. It's absurd and reckless. We need to refund and reinvigorate NASA.
  6. Exactly. Max speed of the Shahed is ~115 mph with a predictable flight path. It's also loud as hell and distinctive, sounds like a moped, so there's an auditory early warning. Ukraine is already dropping 85% of them and will keep getting better. A lot of this war, the announcements of US aid arrive after the UA has already gotten the equipment, or is immediately about to. I hope that's the case with the Patriots.
  7. I've said it a couple of times on this thread, but those Shaheds are non-aerodynamic pieces of shit. Their only advantage is numbers. A delta wing design is much better for high speed than the low speeds these fly at. This shape/speed combo makes them stable in pitch (nose up/down), but otherwise extremely non-maneuverable and Ukraine is going to keep getting better at knocking them down. They are also very fuel inefficient due to their large drag, which limits their range. Our/Ukraine's old tech should feast on these. Missiles are a completely different problem all together. We need to get Ukraine the more advanced missiles they need to defend against these ASAP.
  8. I'm not a lawyer, but the case seems quite a bit stronger than that. The National Archives knows specifically much of what's missing. They know Trump and Trump sycophants were the last ones to handle the documents. DOJ had inside info that gave them probable cause to search Trump's residence. The search found some of these missing documents, but there are more still missing. Some of these documents are national security threats. For all subsequent search warrants, they can conclusively show that Trump stole documents, lied about it, and tried to hide them. They can also show that Trump/sycophants were the last person to handle documents that are still missing. Apply that same fact pattern to a normal person. While searching the suspect's house, the FBI finds some of the missing documents. DOJ can show a judge there are still missing documents the defendant almost certainly possesses. They are going to get a warrant for any other houses, or storage units the person owns/rents as well, until they recover all of the documents. They won't have to have a witness saying I saw them put the documents in their storage unit. Just because Trump doesn't spend much time somewhere, doesn't mean he doesn't store stolen classified documents there. There are more documents out there and they continue to be a grave national security threat. Recovering as many of them as possible is worth the candle.
  9. The bigger question is why they weren't already searched by DOJ. Every Trump property should have been searched top to bottom immediately, after the first warrant turned up stolen classified documents.
  10. Agreed. Combining that with dictator culture, where yes men are afraid to even explore reality, and the dictator believes his own bullshit, yields the current Russian shit show.
  11. This really is incredible. Not only did the Russian military not learn from the American example of logistics, but they apparently ALL also missed the major lesson of the Battle of Britain. I thought it was just Putin being stupid and letting ego get in the way like Hitler, but no. Apparently the entire Russian military believes you can bomb civilians into submission, while disregarding military targets. No one would accept that level of stupidity in a Hollywood script, but it's happening in real life.
  12. Good news is, your liver transplant went well. Bad news is, you're fucking wasted and it's going to take a bit for the booze and meth to clear the system.

He did it with his first QB, but hasn't done it since and almost certainly won't ever again. Locker rushed just under 10 times a game in 2009 and 2010. Sark emphasized last year that he's no longer comfortable with the QB running 10 times a game, because of the accumulation of hits and increased injury risk. We saw this play out last year. That skillset was forced on him, but he stubbornly refused to use that strength of both Card and Thompson. Sark is also on the record many times that he doesn't want his QB running, aside from a few situational runs. He's an anti-Herman here. He doesn't want his QB taking the hits, so running ability isn't going to be something he values in a QB. https://www.on3.com/college/texas-longhorns/news/steve-sarkisian-philosophy-running-quarterback-lack-texas-longhorns-casey-thompson-hudson-card/

This is going to be a continuous refrain as long as Sark is the coach. Sark still has the old school BYU QB Lavell Edwards mentality. He doesn't want his QB running. He doesn't value running as a skill. It sucks, but he's not going to suddenly change and start valuing something he's discarded for 20-ish years of calling plays.
  16. Setting aside the stupidity of the argument, an N95 actually knocks most of the fart smell down. Spewing shit smells from an orifice with none of the consequences? Marge seems to understand that part just fine.
  17. Don't you put that evil on the Denisovians. That thing is clearly outside the human family tree. It appears to be some sort of cave troll.
