  1. Weird, shows up fine for me. Can't edit, so I'll share the link, maybe that will work better:
  2. Damn, thought it was bad when my wife leaves the keys in the lock of the front door. This is on a whole 'nother level though. This reminded me of Easter Sunday. The wife was getting the kids dressed up while I was getting ready to meet my parents for church. She was taking them to an Easter egg hunt at her parent's place while I'm at church. She decided not to put the candy up after getting their outfits on, knowing full well that my 3 year old and my 7 year old (Autistic) make a mess with candy. Melted chocolate on the youngest's shirt, and chocolate all over the oldest's pants. She's losing it, but I just laugh to my myself and said "Gotta go, I'm late."
  3. Girl I used to work with in Plano wrote this, she's always got some funny shit. Waiting on Shy's response.
  4. By the time it gets to 5 at least half the flavor is gone, and the texture is more like tree bark than meat. You probably order your steak well done too, just like a woman.
  5. How was OP repped without providing pics??? What happened to the rules?
  6. 5? 4 is fine, but 5 is just wrong.
  7. #3. Crispy bacon sucks. It's gotta be right in that sweet zone of flimsy but cooked. The more you cook it, the less oil and flavor it has.
  8. Just think...the Russians wouldn't have had any information to share on the Clinton campaign if she protected her server. This is all really her fault.
  9. Interesting that you include the Eiffel Tower, which is also in Paris of course. Apparently Notre Dame Cathedral receives twice as many visitors a year compared to the Eiffel Tower. Of course you have to pay to get into the tower, and supposedly lines are rather long, but it's interesting given the sentiments and the mixed feelings Parisians have when it comes to the Eiffel Tower. Guy de Maupassant once said "She offers the best view on Paris, since it’s the only place where I can’t see her." Certainly not all Parisians feel that way, but you get the impression they don't show as much pride in it as we do the Statue of Liberty which was made by the same man.
  10. The website wasn't the same when that Big Pimpin' .midi wasn't playing on the home page.
  11. Blades of Steel > Ice Hockey Base Wars is still the best sports game on NES though, followed closely by Super Dodge Ball
  12. Goldeneye Mario Kart 64 NFL Blitz 2000 The later was probably the one people played the most freshman year. There were plenty of good Goldeneye and Mario Kart players on our floor, but those that dominated in Blitz seemed to have the biggest bragging rights.
  13. 3rd window above the binoculars:
  14. Penn Station got shafted by getting a 16 seed and drawing Chick-Fil-A in the first round. They make some damn good fries and subs. Also, White Castle over Burger King? Neither are exceptional, but I've never thought "Man, I really wish I had some nasty sliders instead of this greasy Whopper."
  15. "Beyonce pays tribute to Thulsa Doom"
  16. The ones with pets are better anyway. Cats either lose their shit or go stupid when you throw cheese on them. Still not super funny, but they're marginally better.
  17. There's probably a few more, but that looks about right aside from Iowa. They're kind of a mixed bag. Wiki says Governor, Senators, and their in state Senate and House are all Republican. Their House Reps to DC are 3-1 in favor of Democrats though. Partisan split is 32-31.1 in favor of Republicans overall.
  18. Your first statement began with: "When a Republican POTUS candidate wins the popular vote once in the last 30 years and we're stuck in the mess, yeah. Something needs to be done," so there was more than just the one statement. My first comment was just pointing out that, despite it's flaws, the EC has been fairly balanced in picking Presidents from both parties. I lean right, but I can at least see the flaws in either side holding too much power for too long. I agree that the people would be better served if they didn't always stick to their party tendencies. Continuing to vote for the same party every election means the status quo remains the same. What makes you think Democrats would care any more about West Virginia or Mississippi though? There are plenty of Democrat bastions with equal or greater problems. Cities like LA, Detroit, and Seattle all have their share of major troubles that the left have been unable to solve. Bottom line, government is failing the people. Politicians are forgetting their constituents, so maybe we need more non-establishment candidates to send a message to government. I'd vote for Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson as a Democrat in 2020 if it meant further putting the system on notice.
  19. There have been a number of proposals, but they almost always die in committee. As mentioned, the last time Congress seriously discussed eliminating the EC was about 50 years ago and the measure was defeated by smaller states in the Senate. For better or for worse, I think the EC is here to stay until something drastic changes in American politics. The smaller states like the current system, and I think both parties are fairly well entrenched in their current forms.
