  1. What a fucking idiot you are
  2. Lol to be clear, this crew is both flag happy and blind at the same time every game I’ve seen from them.
  3. Yes our defense is still shit. Like bottom 10%
  4. I fucking hate this crew. Always flag happy but still fucks texas
  5. Wait…I thought ULM showed our defense has made vast improvements?!?!?
  6. Yards per play was 10 for Texas last season and 6.2 for Texas last week. Yards per pass was 5.3 for Rice last season and 7.1 for ULM last week. Reading anything into ULM performance is like using Rice from last year. It doesn’t tell us much.
  7. Our defense looked pretty outstanding against rice last year. ULM = Rice. Rice had completions that looked way too easy last year as well. They looked even easier against Kansas. It’s difficult to extract anything forward looking for the season due to quality of opponent.
  8. A backup from another big 12 school it looks like
  9. Texas 20 Alabama 48 ewers goes for 187 with 1 td and 3 ints
  10. Or rice last year? That’s the level ULM is at. I thought offensive line flashed at points but still showed its inexperience. They’re in for a rough week. That said, I’m bullish they can be better than last years shit show. Defensive line showed it’s more talented than ULM, but not very good overall. Outside of a few plays (Sorrell helps), they struggled to get a push against the pass. Better teams will have too much time to throw. Ewers made many freshman mistakes. He needed more reps. He’s a risk taker which will result in some great plays (threading the needle in double coverage early third quarter, improvising that flip pass to sanders on his rollout) and some not so great plays (first two attempts). He throws a beautiful ball. I wish he could have connected on the deep balls to build confidence. wtf card. Scared to death of a Ewers injury now. It was nice to see some guys really show up - Sanders, Overshown in particular. The latter seems to be closer to what we hoped he would be last year. Tackling seemed better, but I’m not sure how much of that was competition vs improvement. They tackled well vs. Rice too. It looks like the early line is Bama -17. I’d take Bama and the points without a second thought.
  11. Sark is a fucking idiot. You’re playing Bama next week dumb fuck. Get your freshman qb reps. Card is the same we thought.
  12. That didn’t stop you from judging us last year. Doesn’t matter if you play scrubs with a big lead or play scrubs all game, no judging.
  13. Bigger pain in the ass for me will be repointing e-mails since I was using it for gmail vs Microsoft UI. Going through the transfer I found a 15 year old gmail account I didn’t remember setting up. apparently there’s a guy with the same name that is using a pretty similar email. I’ve learned he’s very very Mormon.
  14. Texas 61 ulm 20 bijan has 223 total yards midway through the 3rd quarter with long runs of 66, 58 and long reception of 37. He gets 17 touches for a nice start to his heisman campaign with 13 ypt. We see one defensive score, one special teams score and 3 missed fg/ep…the score will look closer than it is. There’s a reason ULM is 127 in FPI
  15. This is very aggy - pretty much tshirt fan talk.
  16. Slow release, awkward motion. Do not want /s
  17. Poor, over-reduction of the sentiment. Literally said what the fuck when I read the headline. It was a surprising and high risk hire. I put hope in the redemption story and was met with last season. Unprepared and out-coached for Arkansas. It was evident half way through the 2nd half of OU the team wasn’t going to sustain the lead. Then total team meltdown. One of the most embarrassing losses in our school history against Kansas. Historically bad defense. A ton of quit. We can twist our brains as much as we want for hope, but at the end of the day, I have experience leading people and quit/unit dysfunction is a symptom of poor leadership. Glossing over it in setting expectations has no value - face the fucking tiger. Sark is good in aspects of the job, but he has not yet shown he’s good enough in all aspects. It’s possible to hope he’s introspective enough to learn and grow, but still anchor expectations to what is know. @Wulaw Horn post on offseason objectives met is solid. Much of the hopes and dreams mentioned here are not.
  18. I’m not really wired to bet he will. I also wouldn’t put the ceiling at 5 or 6. More like 8-9 or 3rd / 4th in the big 12. Think most likely is probably 4th / 5th. Not directly relevant to the conversation, but I still prefer the Sark deal over a Jimb type deal. At least with Sark, there’s an out if upside scenario doesn’t materialize. Aggy is fucked - top guaranteed pay forever for a guy that is highly unlikely to ever meet expectations.
  19. Yeah - that’s really the heart of the debate. I lean it’s more irrational to expect sark to turn it around than to anchor to what has been observed given his track record as a HC and what we saw last year.
  20. Can we move on to what really matters now? What’s the starting offensive line?
  21. Did case take over qb coaching? Better check the film
  22. Alternatively, could that be the main drain line and it’s functioning as intended? A slow, steady drip would be normal in this heat. If it’s backup, still not a huge issue if you can get the main fixed.
  23. Lardo has a better burger than Holsteins…or did when I was there 3 years ago. Different style though.
  24. Got some good bark with my primo. I haven’t done brisket on it since I got an offset, but it was nice not having to tend a fire. Didn’t get any money shots this time.
