  1. Let’s shut up about how much of an idiot he is. His staff just obliterated ours.
  2. You should stick around here. Been a good poster all week.
  3. They’re so damn defensive about the cuck. It’s so confusing. We wanted to fire Herman (or any HC) immediately.
  4. Armybrat bringing the old man fact beatdown tonight.
  5. Not a good comparison. Georgia didn’t want to be there.
  6. Hopefully he doesn’t pull an OSU corndog on us. That was painful to watch.
  7. Yeah, you missed the point dumbass. Tech/OU began to run the ball effectively in the 4th quarter comebacks. They didn’t do shit being one dimensional before that. Those efforts were also aided by protect lead ball and offensive ineffectiveness. The only way LSU has a chance to win is if they can execute more than one aspect of their offense. They didn’t do that against GSO.
  8. Stop being a shitbird, Bill. What if LSU can’t run the ball effectively? Something they failed to do unlike Texas...even though Texas barely tapped into its QB run game.
  9. Maybe you don’t, but I’m pretty sure most of your fans (and apparently your players) do.
  10. Maybe we should break it down differently for the corn dogs. Let’s pretend you’re playing big brother (Bama for you). Your offense can’t move the ball effectively on the ground and you’re not even attempting passes further than 10 yards downfield. How do you think Bama responds when all your passes are short or check downs? I’d wager, with their level of athletes, they can probably key in on that and shut it the fuck down. It’s not rocket science. You out talented a bad team while running an extemely one dimensional offense. We’ve seen a lot of one dimensional offense in our days. The Colt years would have been far more dominant if we had better oline play and a consistent running game. We required an incredibly accurate, smart QB with 3-4 years in the system to make that offense hum. Even it broke down when the oline couldn’t give him time to throw or move the ball consistently on the ground (Neb, OU 2009). OU sucks, but they suck even more when they’re forced to be one dimensional. That’s how Texas built a 21 point lead last October. The weakness of a Leach coached team / pure air raid team is that it’s one dimensional. Baylor got good offensively not from being pass happy, but having a great running game while ripping your heart out with the passing game. Good defenses punish one dimensional offense. Texas struggles defensively last year came against teams that could run the ball and throw the ball. If your fatball oline can’t move the ball on the ground, they’re not repeating last week’s performance. Oline play in the run and the pass is the key to spread success.
  11. 42-28. So if his model values our offense enough to project 28 against that vaunted defense, I like our chances. Returning production appears to be a significant driver of early season ratings. There’s no way in hell LSU scores 42 on us.
  12. aggy gonna aggy. There will be 1 good game Saturday and it doesn’t start until after texags is in full meltdown.
  13. Burrow can’t be effective making hot reads if the defense is disguised. Burrow will get cocky and try to force the ball downfield. LSU will revert to boring, predictable offense after Stearn’s second pick. Our run game won’t stall unless there’s an injury. Chaisson’s enthusiasm will stall after Cosmi’s third pancake.
  14. They’ve completely changed their offensive identity and reset all tendencies.
  15. It’s a possibility. Not realistic, but certainly possible. I think it’s far more likely that LSU has some big plays due to blown assignments than straight up dominating our defense like they did GSO due to their new and improved scheme. LSU will not be a well oiled spread machine in game 2. That’s an unrealistic, purple koolaid-fueled pipe dream.
  16. I’m not sure I’ve seen this level of player fueled bulletin board material since 2005.
  17. Their starting O-line had a ton of experience. The youngest guy on that line was a 4 year starter. No doubt there was a talent gap in that game, but for our DL to put on that kind of pressure against a OL that had seen a lot of time, including Clemson's studly DL last year, I feel much better about us getting pressure with fewer blitzes ---------------------------------------------- I want to add onto this very good point. There is a fallacy going around that LSU could easily throw on Georgia Southern as they lack a secondary to stop it, while other secondaries (Texas being the most vocal) will not be void of talent (just experience). This is simply false in every way. Burrow craved up a very good pass defense of Georgia Southern. Did you know that in 2018 Georgia Southern was #54 in pass defense nationally? That’s better than Texas at #112. But Texas plays in the wide-open pass happy Big12, so the comparison is not fair.... Georgia Southern also ranked ahead of Auburn and Texas A&M. But Texas is DBU... talent is so deep. Did you see Jalen Green this week! It doesn’t matter who goes up against our CB because they practice against the best WRs in college football every day. They are all 6’6” and run like deers. No team will have better WRs. These are all things Texas fans AND analysts have said or written in the past 3 weeks. It confusing because... Georgia Southern CBs Kindle Vildor - 2018 2nd Team All American (PFF) - 2018 Sun Belt POTY (PFF) - 2018 AP 1st Team All-Sun Belt - 2019 Coaches Preseason Defensive POTY - 2019 Coaches Preseason 1st Team All-Sun Belt Monquavian Brinson - 2018 1st Team All-Sun Belt (PFF) - AP 2nd Team All-Sun Belt x 2 years - 2019 Coaches Preseason 1st Team All-Sun Belt Georgia Southern has 2 Senior CBs that played in huge games (Clemson last year for example), and yet Burrow craved them up like a Thanksgiving turkey. Perhaps we are under appreciating the work that LSU did on offense this week? ^Stolen from LSU247 Etienne also averaged 10 yards a carry against them. Did LSU do that?
  18. The pass was good, but 74 got his ass kicked by a scrub. Burrow won’t have the luxury of a scrub not getting to him Saturday.
  19. Oline play usually doesn’t impact games, right? I’m sure that’s where the extraordinary confidence from the other LSU posters is coming from. Meanwhile, according to PFF, the Texas oline had one of the best rated performances in the nation. We’ll see how they do against a vastly superior opponent, but that’s a good sign for an offense. There’s no question mark here - the oline in 2019 is a strength for Texas. Strength vs strength makes for fun games.
  20. In all honesty, I think this game is a pretty dangerous for a young, but talented Texas defense. Stopping LSU’s quick passing attack will require assignment discipline and clean tackling. Make a mistake and LSU has the athletes to make you pay. I don’t think LSU has anything close to a schematic advantage like we’ll see against OU, but they can certainly make us pay for the sloppy play that inexperience can cause. That’s generally true in Big 12 play so I’m not too worried the coaches won’t be ready for it. The key for LSU will be oline play. If they can’t win up front in the run game, it will enable us to be more aggressive defensively and mask the mistakes resulting from inexperience. I fully expect to see a few breakdowns, but I don’t see consistent drives without a solid run game. If LSU can’t control the LOS, they will not win the game.
