  19. I won't quip with the voters for choosing Larry Walker with the year he had in 1997, but Biggio easily could have been the MVP that year and only finished 5th in the voting. Bagwell finished 4th, which probably stole some votes from Biggio. Fun fact: Biggio hit into a double play in the first game of the 1998 season after going all of 1997 without a GIDP.
