    If you can't understand how race affects pretty much every aspect of a black person's life in this country I can't help you. That incident in Frisco (where a completely innocent family was stopped, held at gunpoint, threatened, and cuffed for being...black in Frisco.

    OMG. I’ve had this bundle since it was first offered. And then yesterday everything got totally fucked when I tried to add live TV because my Hulu was being billed through Apple. Have been on multiple calls with all 3 providers (not ESPN) FI hours over the last two days. total shit show. About ready to drop it all.

    @sidis, you see, here, unlike with @Lidig8r, you have an authentic troller. If you're wanting to blast someone, by all means please feel free. FWIW I've never met lidig8r but I know who he is based largely on him having revealed himself during the course of the tragic loss of his daughter (who my daughter, DDD [no pics], knew as a contemporary). I gave him a pass on his comments, with which I completely disagreed and assumed were uninformed, because he has not shown himself to troll on this board or Shaggy, and because professionally his reputation is solid. Carry on.

    Watched a segment last night on PBS News Hour about complicated black lung (and now silicosis due to modern mining methods). WV really is a depressing place, and Joe Manchin is a big reason why lots of those people continue to suffer terribly both physically and economically. It's apparently estimated that mining-related lung damage reduces average life expectancy by 12 years.

    According to the judge, he viewed the changing of the wording from the court's injunction to what it said in its memo to employees as willful disobedience. It was a poor call on their part; they should have just taken the language from the order verbatim. The second memo regarding "don't be a dick" and telling its employees that SW disagreed with the decision and would be appealing in my view shouldn't have been sanctionable; court' s order could be viewed as unconstitutional violation of SW and its lawyers' free speech rights. Of course the mandated religious re-education/indoctrination appears to me to be absolutely unconstitutional. I guess we'll see how that moderate, careful thinking Fifth Circuit views it.
