"Vegetarian [i.e., cheese] enchiladas. Ranchero. Rice and beans. Corn." That four phrase song has been my EyM order for nearly a decade. I hear you guys that insist on beef, but a similarly seasoned ranchero lets this humble vegetarian get his. Pictured with guac because well I think guac is good on everything. Jalapeños on top were already consumed. Tortillas standing by to sop up what's left at the end. And yes the salsa batch that day was gloriously spicy.
Wasn't long ago that Mancini was a home run derby participant. And he's obviously gone through a ton of adversity in his life, kicking cancer's ass and putting a comeback player of the year award on his mantle. He won't be fazed by the booing idiots on the road.

Michael B. Jordan is great and would make a solid Black Panther. But no idea how that works from a plot or character standpoint, so probably not happening. I'm hoping it's Danai Gurira.
Not directed at the poster, but looks like The Ringer could use better editing...or maybe all Indian actors look the same to the author and editor. You'd think they'd get the name right of the actor that allegedly "gives the best performance in the movie."
I'd definitely watch an "older" Bond series with Elba where there's less hand to hand combat and physicality. Still got plenty of ways to add action, cars, gadgets, guns, dinner jackets, and the ladies.
I thought that trailer was awesome. Cooler is one of the best around today, so I think this tops a billion at the box office. Less sure it gets as high as the first Black Panther movie without Boseman or Jordan.
If you have the chance to add a generational talent like Soto, you do it unless the prospect price significantly impacts your long term competitiveness. Flags fly forever. I care less about the $500M (and luxury tax), that's what insurance is for.
First time to MMP for my kids. Was hoping for JV but Dusty. Waited till the bitter end for a choo choo but boy was it worth it. Odorizzi didn't have anything today...it only ever seemed like he wanted to get to his fastball, and then he kept leaving his 92 mph heaters up and out over the plate, so they were deservedly punished. Royals starter was mediocre once you got a baserunner on and he had go away from his windup. Just took us too long to get traffic on the bases. Astros bullpen did great work today. And good job pitching to Yordan in the bottom of the 9th in a 3-1 count. That pitch should have been a 57 footer, not some meatball cement mixer thing.
