  1. Really enjoy what I've heard of Steve Gunn.
  2. My recollection of that situation was that most folks wanted Aranda and were disappointed when that didn't work. People were more willing to be optimistic about Orlando but I didn't think it was universal slurpage.
  3. It's been pointed out by many others already but the collective Shaggy/Surly smell test has been pretty spot on with recent coordinator and position coach hires (Watson, Beck, Mehringer, et al). Head coaches, however, have been a different matter.
  4. Were there personal issues involved too or just the fact that they were aware he was a shitty coach?
  5. Mackovic was a .500 level head coach with the Chiefs before his run at Illinois/UT.
  6. Absurd and dangerous, you say?
  7. We're headed down the hill to Tennessee level at this rate.
  8. Why does Ingram keep stopping and trying to cut back every time he catches the ball? Dude could always get at least 2-3 more yds if he kept running straight through.
  9. It doesn't matter. It would've just been some slow-developing, wait for your blockers to get blown up and then tackled for a 3 yard loss kind of a run.
  10. The whole establishing the run approach is such bullshit and regressive and in the case of our personnel it's like putting a governor on a race car.
  11. Blatant DL holding
  12. Calm down guys, Mensa is just trying to "establish the run"...
  13. [Norm voice]PRE![/Norm]
  14. Greg McElroy is ass, my dudes.
  15. How can we? Weren't those on the shag, and isn't the shag dead? Not dead, just shitty.
  16. Exactly. Imagine what this team's record would be if Swoopes was the starter (Lord bless him tho).
  17. Shane knew he was too good to sit on the bench. Didn't fit the system. I'm glad he left really. Happy to see he's got a system that fits him and he got his UT degree and roots for us.
  18. Fwiw, I think Sam is hurt worse than we know. There's gotta be a good reason we haven't seen as many runs from him as we did last season. Also explains why his accuracy his a little off. I still believe in the guy and don't think he's the kinda dude that would cry to us about just how bad he's hurt either.
  19. This right here. Been happening all season.
  20. Receivers don't know how to get open once the play breaks down. Definitely something we leaned on LJ for last season and he'd bail us out constantly. You see all of these breakdown scrambles and Sam just has nowhere to go.
