  1. Know what you mean but to be fair though, wasn't the only other tenant in that unit Dickie's BBQ?
  2. Gallo is currently sporting a -0.2 WAR and leading the league in strike outs.
  3. Like everyone else I was pretty dissapointed when the pick number was unveiled but holy fuck balls, from the looks of Mavs Twitter and the extended Mavs media machine, you'd think the league just announced they're shutting the team down or something. Yeah, I'd say Ayton/Doncic are a pretty firm cut above at 1-2 but that 3-8 range looks very promising this year. There will be risk, sure, but at this point who can really project much difference in future success between Bagley/Bamba/JJJ/MPJ/Carter?
  4. Fucking 5th. Goddamn. Probably looking at Bamba or Wendell Carter I'd imagine.
  5. Nice. How many gym days and running miles per week you averaging?

    Post Malone

Until Post Malone it had always been a huge mystery to me that despite being the fourth largest metro area in the country and so close to rap star fertile Houston and New Orleans, DFW had never produced a massively popular hip-hop/rap superstar (I'm not counting Vanilla Ice who from what I could tell repped being from Miami more than Dallas or someone like Dorrough who I don't think has had anywhere near the kind of airplay or chart success).
  7. Actually my first instinct was somebody was fucking with his Twitter but if so figured "I'm leaving my job" would be more of a weird thing to say than funny. Figured a classic "I've always loved cocks in my butt, y'all" or some variant would've been more fitting.
  8. ^ was just about to post that. I know many here will be glad, but count me as a TC fan. I'm an IJB guy.
  9. Meru. Bad ass mountain climbing/adventure doc about a trio of climbers' attempts to climb one of the hardest routes on one of the most dangerous peaks in the Himalayas. Amazing story and awesome scenery.
  10. Some supplements that helped me with constipation are magnesium, a little sodium bicarbonate mixed in water and cascara sagrada. I also found a daily raw carrot salad with some salt, vinegar and coconut oil helped keep shit pretty regular. The insoluble fiber of the carrots adds to the bulk and also helps stimulate peristalsis. The coconut oil, or even olive oil, should in theory work to sort of grease the wheels.
  11. Joe Dirt from hard knocks would be good comparison to Vander Esch.
  12. Tbh, tacodeli beef picosito, when the beef hasn't been overcooked into charcoal, is very tasty. People should stop going there too.
  13. This. It's not that great. People should stop going.
  14. What y'all are doing with saying some of these places are "overrated"... I see it. I also agree that all of these shitty, overpriced, crowded restaurants named in this thread are overrated. Especially the aforementioned Pinthouse, Hopdoddy and Amy's. Shitty shitty shitty. People should stop going. Spread the word.
  15. Last I was aware Tim Ferris was advocating a 3-day fast once a month and then was doing maybe a handful of longer ones (don't remember/know how long) at other times throughout the year. I'm pretty sure he's based that practice at least in some part on the suggestions of Art DeVany. Irc he's also been very cautious w/ the longer ones, like constant biomarker/vitals monitoring, etc.
  16. Recent history has shown that coaches who don't know their players' names tend to perform better at AAC schools than at power fives.
  17. Not sure if serious. You mean the coach who just completed his third season hasn't had enough time to get experienced guys together? You trollin brah.
  18. In November 1918 the UT football team played and defeated the Camp Mabry football team, 22-0. Interestingly enough, earlier in October of the same season they twice played and defeated the “Penn Radio School” https://www.sports-reference.com/cfb/schools/texas/1918-schedule.html Penn Field - 1918
  19. El Escorial is cool, just outside of Madrid.
  20. Not hip-hop but the primary sample they use in that song is from an Ocote Soul Sounds song. It's a pretty cool band if you like Latin jazz -Afro beat kinda stuff. As far as hip hop, I've been listening to a lot of older instrumentals lately like stuff from J Dilla. Wrt to posting vids, it looks like you can just copy/paste directly into the text box and it will automatically embed for you. I'm on Android but have noticed someone else say the same.
  21. We talking TX kolsch's give me St. Elmo - Carl followed closely by Peticolas - Golden Opportunity and Hops and Grain - 78702.
  22. BK was a Ticket BaD Radio intern so he's alright with me. Also, they should bring Tyler Coe back on for part of that segment. He was the original 104.9 - Shaggy enthusiast.

    Podcasts

Every year when football season starts creeping around (and by extension fantasy football), John Paulsen puts out a podcast called "The Most Accurate Podcast". Dude is perennially a top 10 finisher in fantasypros.com accuracy rankings. There are obviously a lot of fantasy football podcasts out there but most of the more popular ones are hosted by guys who don't have the skins on the wall - Paulsen is one of the only perennially top ranked experts that actually has his own podcast.
