Sneaky!

I really thought Montgomery was a great draft pick and he really hasn’t materialized...not that it’s all his fault. I just expected him to be better?
-
Troy and Joe think they are being conditioned to look for flags. They didn’t see the Pavlov’s Bell shit this past weekend . This is tame compared to three kickoffs to start a fucking game.
-
Impressed by both defenses. So far.
-
The multiple flags are giving me PTSD from last weekend...

Brady getting hit a lot
-
Would have been nice to have VV on the Cowboys...oh well...
-
Now we have a game. Damn. Foles appears to have woken up.
-
Badass hit. Glad there was no foul. Damn Brady got smacked too. This should be a much better game second half...I hope.

Nice guitar intro for EVH! Fuck ya!

Top teams in PPG through 4 weeks:
Packers - 38.0
Seahawks - 35.5
Cowboys - 31.5
Browns - 31.0
Bills -30.8
Saints - 30.8
Ravens - 30.5
Buccaneers - 30.0
Chiefs - 29.3
Raiders - 27.8
Soooooo...outside of the Raiders and the Cowboys the other teams have winning records. This screams of how shitty the defense is.
i wonder if JJ understands that having competent Safeties and Corners helps the pass rush? Does he even understand Defense? Does McCarthy? We know Nolan sure as shit doesn’t. Most of the teams on that list above have a shot at the SB. And division championship/WC. If Dallas had a Defense...damn.
its only 1/4 of the season though. Covid, injuries, etc...can still wreck teams and units can still improve. But still. 1-3 with that kind of PPG numbers is just sad.

Its Fixable!
or
We don’t have to play TCU again until 2021! Hook’em!
(It really depends on how this weekend turns out. Right? Lol.) Glad our mascot is a Longhorn and not a groundhog. We’ve been seeing our shadow since 2010.

hey, you aren't THAT much younger than I am and...
Yeah, I wish I'd been see to see them during the original DLR years.
At least I saw them when they reunited years later with Wolf on bass. Not the same thing, but it was enough.
Yeah I just meant to be like 16-18 years old then. Before my time. RIP Eddie!

Awesome stories! I love the cars of that time and the music. XM/Sirius 27 Deep Tracks is playing all VH and EVH. Probably for the next day or two if you can listen.
I always wanted a trans am...man y’all tell great stories.

RIP. Damn
Man I bet 1978-1983 was a great time to be a teen. From the stories y’all are telling.

So, how many players who transferred to another team, besides Beuchele, have had a great career and got drafted?
Jalen Hurts seemed to do pretty well. SIAP
On the one hand, I can see the portal being misused by certain athletes. Thinking that a transfer will increase their draft status when in fact they may be mediocre players not likely to be drafted. Or just entitled whiny guys.
I really don’t think that is the case for most players. Since I want UConn Tom Herman gone, I’d say it’s an indictment of HIS program and HIS failure as a HC and HIS inability to develop the players HE recruited to campus. That’s how I choose to see anyone escaping the program because I think Tom is a fraud. The NFL draft has been a barometer as Urban Meyer well knows of how UT has been developing its 3,4 and 5 star talent. It just is. And it’s damning.
I wish Watson good luck. Also, some of these parents (not saying it’s Watson’s but we see it all the damn time) put way too much fucking pressure on these kids to support their families. It’s fucking insane. JMO.Damn, my dad passed away 15 years ago today and he was very strict about grades etc...Almost absurd the scrutiny my brother and I were under. But we were not expected to support our entire family. I feel for these athletes I truly do. And I think its too much pressure to put on your damn kids and imo irresponsible parenting.
so ya, if the transfer portal is full after this weekend or the next or the next, maybe it will get Herman gone. If that’s what it takes then that’s what it takes. MOO.

Shit I was kinda getting used to Arizona. Can I come back home, Houston? I only banged the Cardinals a couple of times and it didn't mean anything
That’s what South Austin’s mom says. Stop stealing her lines.

Holy shit! I didn’t think that would happen. Even mid-season. Wow. Congrats Texans fans!

Why do no reporters at these stupid pressers ever counter UConn Tom when he says, “It’s fixable.” Does not one them have enough balls to say, “what’s fixable specifically? Can you clarify?” And if there is enough word salad from Tom to equate a response of what needs to be fixed then ask him, “How do you intend to fix ...? Did Sunday practice solve the issue?”
he sucks. High school “reporters” could ask better questions than the car wash shit pressers we see after games. He needs to be grilled. Like fajita meat.

Tons of good stuff in the article:
“In the Big 12, frankly if you’re Texas, it should not take two to three to four years to rebuild. Outside of Oklahoma, you should be heavily favored. You're getting better players in recruiting than every school. There's Oklahoma, Texas (and) TCU is a distant third in terms of recruiting. Simply so far, not good enough.” (Colin Cowherd)
UConn Tom on Sam’s performance vs TCU:
"I think it was up and down," Herman said. "He made some really, really good throws — made some ill-advised ones as well. TCU's defense did a really good job, so you never want to — it's not like we were playing out there on air. Those guys, they've got a really good defense and they got a lot better this week and they came out ready to play and played well, but I don't think anybody's confidence in Sam is shaken in the least. And I'm sure he'll tell you he didn't play his best game, but at the end of the day, I think we're all pretty confident in him and his abilities."
