that Leach team is going to do to ISU what aggy does to sheep... i wish it wasn't so... i like ISU and outside of playing us, it never bothers me a bit to see them do good... Hell, i would openly root for them if they were in the playoffs... but that WSU game would analize 90% of those teams rank3d ahead of them including OU
WSU is a less talented but better coached version of WVU.

Just substitute Frio light.

Is Busch Light an ISU thing as well?
Wait - it’s a Wazzu thing too? Iowa drinks more Busch Light than any other state.

Theyre so fucked.

So does WVU. Surprised they got passed over for the Alamo Bowl. That N.C. State cancellation really bit them in the ass. They'll probably prefer traveling to Orlando over San Antonio though, but the payday will be wildly different.
ISU and WVU both travel well.
Now look at a map. This is an easy call and preferable draw for both games, attendance wise.

lowest attended Alamo Bowl ever?

Of all the things that I'm glad to have left behind when I escaped Minnesota, lutefisk has got to be #1 on the list. I damn near get dry heaves just thinking about that shit.
I consider myself a connoisseur of weird meats that Europeans brought to the upper Midwest (head cheese, jaternice, braunschweiger, etc), but fuck lutefisk.

Understood, and my comments stand. I assumed that by having a hunch re: ISU & Alamo, he is stating an opinion that TX loses to OU (and the dominos fall accordingly after that). Hence, my question... I could easily be missing something, which is why I hedged 😂
I think we go Alamo regardless of CCG outcome.
Either OU wins and makes playoffs, putting you in Sugar, or you win, go to Sugar, and they go to another NY6.

I’ll be watching. I have a hunch we’ll be playing the loser in San Antone

OU's alts suck. I'm not sure any blue blood school has pulled off a good alt. Ohio State's terrible black unis come to mind.

We did carnitas for Thanksgiving at my mom's this year, because we weren't actually meeting on Thanksgiving Day and no one really likes turkey. Used roast from a hog that had been slaughtered 2 weeks prior. It was fucking delicious.

In news that's not news, some (aren't saying they will compensate for lost revenues from the projected $246 million tied up in the XII GoR's) want OU out due to inverted #Hook'Em:
'Get Oklahoma out of the Big 12 Conference' Petition has started.
Did they miss Hager's reprimand for saying "OU sucks?"

What a little bitch. Also who still complains about shit like that being unfair? Selfish prick.
You have nailed so much here.
Let's just say this kid has never heard that he's anything other than a victim of the world for the entirety of his life and now he's 27, seasonally employed, and lives with his parents where he spends his free time smoking weed and playing video games. He seems to have no desire to do anything else. FIL was abused as a kid and their parenting style seems like an over-correction to the way he was raised. The kids are put on a pedestal, and there is no tough love. The wife turned out to be motivated, driven, and thoughtful, but I'm thinking that was just luck.

The stupidest thing on this thread is husbands complaining about their wives cleaning their house. Jesus people, wtf is wrong with you all?!
It's one of those things that sounds awesome, until it's weaponized against you.

I solved this problem before I got married: separate sheets/blankets. It saves marriages.
Also subscribed.
We have a set of sheets that covers the entire bed, but I keep a reserve blanket next to the bed.

Yeah that looks a lot more legit and less sterile than the other corporate ass place.
And like the kind of place where you can sit, have a beer, and talk to people.
Toppling Goliath went off the deep end into one of those slick massive corporate tap rooms, and I think I've been there twice because the atmosphere sucks.

Let HER pull the fuckin’ thing if she wanted it so badly.
Getting stuff that she wants under the guise of providing stuff for you...rage-inducing.
Jesus Christ yes. My wife has to clean some part of our house every night, regardless of whether or not it needs to be cleaned. Then she tries to act like she's doing it for me. No, you're doing it for you. I do not give a fuck if you've swept the kitchen for the second time in 5 days and I have made this perfectly clear numerous times.

Yup. The amount of effort/concern/mental energy that every day normal right wingish folks I know put into fringe weirdo leftist internet psychos blows my mind.

KSU going as deep as they did in the tourney last year without their best player was the best testament to how good this league really is imo.
Getting the 16 seed in the round of 32 didn't hurt either.

I've traded for many a Jester King in the past, but I'm not sure that we'll get out that way.

I've drank enough Lone Star on previous Texas visits. I'm good on that front.
If ISU gets the Alamo Bowl nod (we'll actually be in SA that day), I'll get my fill of Lone Star.

Gonna be in the Austin/SA area about a month from now and need some local beer recs.
I'm a fan of IPAs (not that into lactose IPAs) and pilsners, wife is into sours and cider. Dad and his wife will be along and they don't really drink beer (wine/liquor) but will go for something mild and refreshing.

Your wife must also subscribe to the theory that one cannot enter a store without investigating every possible aisle, in case there's some item that they had no idea that they needed in said store.
