  1. Leon has always been black Kramer and I’ve never realized it fully until now. You genius.
  2. I had no expectations of winning, but scoring 40 would be optimistic at this point
  3. This episode was top shelf Curb.
  4. Europeans hear Minnesota and think Mike Lindell and Louie Anderson.
  5. I was referring to Iowa, of course.
  6. It's a lot more fun for me knowing Houston's remaining slate vs ours. There's a very good chance they pick up another loss, and maybe even 2 more. We can absolutely afford to lose this game tonight and still be fine for a share of the conference crown. With unbalanced schedules, and us splitting the regular season it would feel like a truly shared title unlike back when the Big 10 (now I'm talking football) had 11 teams and someone would miss Ohio State and Michigan and finished tied with one of those squads, and everyone knowing that OSU/Mich would pummel the co-champ if they had actually played.
  7. #2 vs. #6 tonight. As tough as Houston played us in Hilton, I just don't see a win here. If we somehow pull this off, I'm going to lose my shit.
  8. It's not anywhere close to enough to create a stereotype, but I know a few guys that completely fit that description. They grow weed that they sell to 15-20 friends and relatives, usually go by a nickname like Whisper or Swinger or something like that, and are usually bachelors. They'll generally have some form of menial legitimate income too, to keep anyone from sniffing around too much.
  9. The paper plate is a big part of my assessment, but creative usage of processed snack food is always Shankworthy.
  10. This belongs in Steel Shank, but well done.
  11. I like the fact that it’s theoretically possible for any team to play their way into March Madness with one final, furious rally. Even if it’s wildly unlikely.
  12. Well, if you keep winning it’s not meaningless
  13. Hah. Fuck them. Especially Tang. Sorry Kenny.
  14. Wonder if she was there when my wife was running track for UNI
  15. I do think our tendency to blow these giant leads will catch up with us. I just hope it’s in Big 12 play and not March Madness. You guys are salty and will make noise in March at full strength
  16. We’re a fucking wagon right now. Don’t see us beating Houston on Monday, but if they pick up just one more loss we’re getting a share
  17. Outside of yesterday morning it’s been stunningly nice by February standards.
  18. Home brewed farmhouse ale. Think Spotted Cow. Ish. Just an easy drinker
  19. I’m dead. You’ll always be my favorite Wildcat
  20. I mix in kibble, but Christ, there’s no reason that mutt shouldn’t be on an all kibble diet.
  21. My wife became convinced we needed to feed our first dog that Fresh Pet shit when he got old and his teeth started going. I guess it made sense, because it was hard for him to chew kibble and that little fucker was an absolute prince who realistically deserved filet mignon had it been in the budget. But the problem is our shitass second dog got used to it as well. Costs more to feed that surly mongrel than it does to feed our kid.
  22. KU's still capable of making a run if McCullar is healthy for the tournament. They have shit for depth, but when they're on they can be a fucking buzzsaw. What they did to Houston in the Phog wasn't a fluke, it's just impossible to recreate on a nightly basis when you have a 6 man rotation. Unless KU makes it to the Big 12 championship game in KC, I'd almost expect them to get on a heater in the Dance.
  23. I remember 6-7 years ago when Weinstein was a reasonable guy. All of these people started off in this space of being totally reasonable people who were pushing back against some legitimately batty things going on in left wing spheres, but have gone so completely red pilled that they're driving the crazy train in the other direction now. The grift pays good I guess.
  24. Yormark catches a lot of shit here, but it seems pretty clear to me that he understands the best option for the Big 12 is to work on being #3 and keeping a spot in the mix. He's not pretending that the Big 12 is on the same footing as the SEC and Big 10. No one in the Big 12 is laboring under that delusion from what I can see. The Pac 12 thought they were, and that's what ultimately doomed them.
  25. I'm pretty sure the ACC and Big 12 were fine with the 5/7 model and it was the Pac holding things up.
