  1. Don't know how I'm going to make it until tomorrow. Feel like and probably will start my Allez Allez Allez loop a day early.
  2. Time to bring him back? Marko Grujic has been nominated for Cardiff City's Young Player of the Season award.... Despite only arriving at the club in January🏆 liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football…
  3. I choose to remain positive. We have three games minimum left and handle our business we're in the CL final for a fourth. Love to have all hands on deck but don't think any of these last games will be won because of one guy being here or not. Hoping for a nice boring Wednesday and Saturday, and moving on.
  4. Another no-look from Bobby. https://mobile.twitter.com/LFC/status/990621795123449858

  6. Twitterverse blowing up about Gerrard to Rangers. Good move IMO.
  7. So what I hear you saying , is that my kid game interfering wasn’t at the the worst time... No injuries, correct?
  8. These guys know what's up and are paying attention. TAA - “Barcelona were three goals up after the home tie (in the quarter-final against Roma) and you cannot count your opponent out, especially when we have seen ourselves they can do special things at their place – we’ll have that in the back of our mind. “But we’ll just focus on ourselves knowing maybe scoring a couple of goals there will finish the game off.”
  9. Not surprising, but doesn't conflict with other reports that he could be back for the beginning of the season.
  10. If you were Liverpool and could dream up a way for a team to set up, what would it be? I'm not at Melwood, but I'd guess it would be a situation where a team has to press for goals, allowing them to play for the counter opposed to a team that would be setting up in a shell.

Just hope for some light entertainment and a relative clean close to the story lines.
  12. Good news. We're up 5-2 going into the away leg. I get the consternation, but the last time a team came back in the CL/European Cup semis down 3-0 was in 1986 when Barcelona did it. The last time anyone scored five goals was in '95 when Ajax beat Bayern 5-2 in the second leg. IMO, Roma coming back on Barca only a couple of weeks ago only helps Klopp keep the boys focused. If that doesn't happen, the danger is the same and no doubt the team is confident and 1986 might as well be 1956 to them. Most of them probably watched that game a couple weeks back. I have little doubt that we won't be focused. Also good, we only have a a max of five games left. As much rest as we could ask for between now and Saturday and more importantly then and Wednesday. Fitness through those two games should be fine. Hoping for Ox, but it doesn't seem good. The bigger downer right now is Sean Cox, the Liverpool supporter from Ireland attacked by the Roma fans. Makes me scared for what might happen there next week and our fans reaction to it.
  13. Holy mackerel. To think of the goals we didn’t score.

  15. Good read. Two problems dominate all others before Tuesday’s Champions League semi-final at Anfield – at least in determining how the game will be won. Can Roma stop Mohamed Salah and can Liverpool defend set plays? A key factor in Roma’s success against Barcelona was Eusebio Di Francesco’s switch to a 3-5-2, having fielded a 4-3-3 in every other game bar one this season. It not only wrong-footed Barcelona but meant Roma had three against two at the back and in midfield, something that was possible because the two wing-backs, Alessandro Florenzi and Aleksandar Kolarov, had the energy to drive back Barça’s wide men, Sergi Roberto and Andrés Iniesta. It forced them to defend rather than tucking in to offer support to the two central midfielders, Sergio Busquets and Ivan Rakitic. That had two principal benefits. First it meant Juan Jesus could step with confidence from the backline to deal with Lionel Messi, knowing he always had two players behind him who had just one central forward, Luis Suárez, to contain. It also meant that at the back of midfield Daniele De Rossi, protected by Kevin Strootman and Radja Nainggolan, had time and space to make the play. And that is why this match will be so different from Roma’s task against Barça. Quite apart from anything else there is no chance that De Rossi will have as much time on the ball as he had then. The sight of him measuring his pass over the defence for Edin Dzeko in the second minute as no one closed him down should shame Barça. Whether that was a facet of their attitude or a conscious decision to release Suárez and Messi from defensive responsibility, it allowed Roma’s creative fulcrum to go about his business unchallenged. Roberto Firmino will not allow it. Liverpool will be aggressive, fearsomely so, in their press and how Roma handle that will go a long way to determining whether they have a chance in the game. The worry for Di Francesco must be the way Tottenham – after their dozy 10 minutes in Turin and before their dozy 10 minutes at Wembley – were able almost to bully Juventus in their last-16 meeting, something that confirmed the impression the Premier League is a different level from Serie A in terms of pace and power. Even more concerning must be the fact that, aggressively as Spurs press, Liverpool are far more ferocious. As well as everything else this will be a serious physical examination. ... https://www.theguardian.com/football/2018/apr/24/roma-bunker-liverpool-storm-champions-league-semi-final
  16. Nervous as heck and listening to this on repeat...

Anyone stick around for the show? Still keep up, but guessing it will be over at the end of the season. It's not brilliantly written, but I'm a sucker for time travel stuff.
  18. Headed to watch the game at the Londoner in Addison tomorrow. If anyone else is interested in meeting up/saving me a seat let me know.
  19. In Salah connects that pass to a Danny, it would have been beautiful.
  20. Nice ball to Mo from Joe. Good to see your u back.
  21. Guess you're glad we're not going in this direction.
  22. Good takes and more in depth than my initial thoughts on the tuition deal. I was thinking it might make Phillip vulnerable to do something for cash leading to him getting back in the game for one side or the other.
