  1. So you going to spill the beans about the “incompetence and bizarre shit coming from Belmont right now” after the Manhattan, or just keep it to yourself?
  2. Isn’t the Penn transfer a pitcher? Or are there two Ivy leaguers coming?
  3. Maybe if you make watches it is.
  4. Also, if the outfield is improved, why not move Gasparino to 1B? He has the length (my wife likes to call him "the longest man in baseball" - I think she's talking about his height, right?).
  5. Yeah, Gavin Kash. Pretty sure he burned bridges here, but then, who is left either on the roster or the staff? I personally don't want him back, but I'm not in a position to say anything about it. I think he's already in the portal (or was, don't know if he's signed anywhere). He's technically a Junior, but if he has any hopes of playing professional ball (not just MLB, but farm system), I think the consensus is he has to go now and rehab there and work his way up there. Another year in college isn't going to improve his draft stock, and it puts him another year behind in the farm system. At least that's what I've heard from folks who know more than me about it.
  6. So all the seats there are just people who manually entered rather than going through the actual Texassports.com website? I’ve had season tickets for a few years but never had a reason to list for sale.
  7. I'd like to keep Gasparino and Belyeu on the roster. And Dee Kennedy seems solid in the field, but could be better at the plate. I also like both Duplantier kids (but since Dre is going to be a Senior, not sure if he'd come back), Flores, Galvan, and of course JT (but everything I have heard is that he's gone even before Pierce was canned). Not saying any of these should be guaranteed starters, just seem solid and worth keeping around. For arms, I can see Grubbs coming back, but anyone else I'd want back is a Junior. Anyone else who is an underclassman and didn't get much time so I trust the new staff to evaluate. The rest of the roster, if you can earn a spot, great, if not, thanks for your service.
  8. Listen guys, you don't mess with a classic. Obviously the chant/shirt that needs to be made is POOOOOOOOR AGGGGGGGGY
  9. Question for those who've sold individual game tickets on SeatGeek before. I have a few games I need to get rid of, but when I went on my account, it's not possible to choose the tickets to sell on SeatGeek (the box to click is greyed out and not allowing me to select). However, on SeatGeek, there's plenty of tickets already for sale for all of the games this season.
  10. He must work out.
  11. You can take our coach, but you’ll never take our TRADITIONNNNNNNS!
  12. I can’t believe the staff took so long to assemble. Now do a thread for roster construction.
  13. Thanks for the correction. I’ll say every supercharger I’m aware of shows up on my available chargers in my Rivian, so I guess most/all of them in central Texas, Houston, and Dallas are V3 or newer.
  14. Yes. The have already announced the R2 and the R3, which are more of a midsize, 5 seater. The R2 is supposed to be available in 2026, the R3 sometime after that. I like the look of the R3X the most. https://rivian.com/newsroom/article/rivian-announces-mid-sized-platform
  15. Tesla has actually issued guidance on non-Teslas charging and that's what they reccomend. They are also rolling out chargers with longer charging cords, but honestly the low hanging fruit would be to just re-stripe the parking spots so that the chargers are on the line and not centered in a spot. And my wife had a Tesla before her Rivian (we both drive them now) - the Rivian is definitely more luxurious as is, and they just introduced a higher end "Ascent" package for models year 25 that even kicks it up a notch. I don't have any plans to get rid of either of our Rivian any time soon, but assuming they are still around in 5 years, I'll happily buy another one when it's time. And the fact that VW just announced a $5BN investment over the next 5 years (they are going to do a joint venture to build the computer architecture and UI for future EVs together), that is good news for their long-term viability.
  16. Not accurate. There are some V4 (I think) Superchargers with adapters built in. Those are called "magic docks". There are also adapters that are already shipping/shipped to Ford and Rivian owners, and third party adapters, that allow Ford and Rivian to use a Supercharger without the magic dock. I know, because I have one, and have used a supercharger that didn't have the magic dock. Meaning, I can charge at ANY supercharger, not just the magic dock superchargers. And it is plug and play, I don't have to do anything (although to get a cheaper rate, I need to have a Tesla charging account and initiate the charging session before I plug in). The issue was getting the Ford/Rivian networks to communicate with the Tesla network for billing purposes, which they have done. That's what the other manufacturers need to work out. The reason is that there are Federal dollars earmarked for EV charging, but they have to have both NACS and CCS. And if nothing else, Elon LOVES him some federal subsidy.
  17. Ford and Rivian now have access to the Supercharger network FWIW. Others will also gain access to it.
  18. Even if true, a QB is going to get more NIL $$$ than a D-lineman. A lot more. So comparing Dia Bell to Damonic Williams is idiotic.
  19. My wife and I went Rivian and never looked back. The R2 and R3 come out in 2026, but for us, the R1S is the perfect car. And the new refresh of the R1S has a 1,025 HP quad motor model that does 0-60 in 2.5 seconds that will be out next year. Since, you know, 835HP/2.9 seconds 0-60 on the current quad motor wasn't enough.
  20. Let he who has not gotten in a shouting match with their significant other about dildos cast the first stone.
  21. The Ramos Gin Fizz would like to have a word with you.
