  1. John Lennon really let himself go towards the end.
  2. Now compare the Southwest Club to the United Club for me. 🙃
  3. I have Clear. I will get TSA Precheck and/or Global Entry if I make the move. Alright, United it is then. Follow up question - what would be the best United credit card to move most of my spending to to maximize miles/points/status?
  4. Ironically, the team being this good makes me have less focusness at work.
  5. I may need to relocate my family to the Denver area in the next couple of years, but I would continue to work in Austin. If that comes to pass, I'd be flying from Denver to Austin at the beginning of the week, and for Austin to Denver at the end of the week probably 40 times a year. We have been SWA flyers for the past decade or so, but the experience with SWA is wearing thin - I've had a lot of delays on recent trips, the pre boarding abuses (google Jetway Jesus if you want a chuckle), and a general decline in customer service. I know there are a lot of Tex-pats who live in Colorado on this board, so I thought this would be a good place to ask. Which airline is the best for this type of travel? Bonus points if it would earn me a status that makes the inevitable delays in the airports more tolerable and maybe work my way into more comfortable seats on many trips, and/or could be used for international trips with the family. I'm not averse to credit card hacks as well, as I usually run all my expenses through one primary card for points/rewards anyway. What says the surly travel connoisseurs?
  6. I saw that too. Burke especially. He seemed to throw it into reverse on a dime when he had “clear shot” at the QB since the line all released. Very disciplined.
  7. Fifth shot. 5G. Lyndon Larouche was right!
  8. They might be leaning a little too hard into the Japanese stereotypes when Thrawn said to kill any space whale, though.
  9. Wife is in the market for a new car since some idiot rear-ended her on 360 last week and totaled her Model Y (to be fair, the Model Y held up well in the crash, but insurance ain't gonna pay to try to fix it). Anyway, she is only looking at EV SUV/crossovers. She test drove the Genesis GV70 yesterday and loved almost everything about it, surprisingly to her. The BMW iX is her favorite, but it's almost 50% more expensive. She's also looking at a slightly used Rivian R1S today (I have one, so we know what it drives like). Too bad Volvo pushed the EX90 out another year - we have a deposit for it, but the plan was to trade the Model Y when it came out. Now that we are probably buying something new that may not work. Unless we decide to lease for a year and just put the insurance payout from the Tesla into a HYSA or something and wait for the Volvo.
  10. The AG's attorney is waiving attorney client privilege on behalf of the client? That's a client's privilege to waive, not the attorney's privilege.
  11. For me? Probably November if it keeps up. But that would be 6 weeks of rain.
  12. Apparently there was some "conference" with the lawyers, and after that conference Patrick came out and said she is "present but unavailable to testify."
  13. If we can get the Co-Op Statutes taken down, we can get this shirt sent to Angola.
  14. His question I was attempting to answer was how to prove he was the heir. If there's any question, he would need an Affidavit of Heirship. If whoever he needs to prove he is the heir is willing to take his word for it, then no need.
  15. I'll respond to your PM with more info not to put on the main / public board. Thanks. It's actually for my client's former spouse, and to pay my client a judgment, need to get a loan. The now former spouse is acting like taking out a mortgage is going to cots 10% of the loan amount, and is trying to use that the "reduce" the amount of the community estate to divide, and therefore pay my client a lower judgment.
