  1. It's "allegedly" to keep the media from being sued for libel/tainting the jury pool/etc. So basically, lawyers.
  2. What you want NMAS to do: What NMAS is going to do:
  3. Thanks for the recommendation. My kid's favorite place these days is Parkway Tavern - so we go there most trips. Need a car (or an uber) to get there.
  4. Because I have 3 kids that I take on the trip, and we do stuff outside of just go to Quarter/JazzFest.
  5. I just booked my flights and rental car for Weekend 1 of JazzFest.
  6. You sure say "I don't make the rules" a lot for someone who literally works in the industry that makes the rules.
  7. This. She zapped his brain so he can’t tell the New Republic what he was doing.
  8. My dad calls those "jumping cactus" in that it seems like they will jump off the ground to stick you.
  9. The whitest plane flight I've ever been on (passenger wise) was a flight to Indianapolis. Geez, that was a white crowd (and I'm white!).
  10. Actually, you missed several pages of people saying the gay prepper story line was the best part of the show. And like one idiot being upset by it (and the idiot wasn't even Slorch, believe it or not!)
  11. Who do I blame for this? I need to blame someone.
  12. Sanderson, that Cactus Capital of the World. Can attest that is not a misnomer. Used to hunt mule deer out that way. I think I probably had about 2,000 cactus spines in me after a normal hunt. More if I actually shot a muley and had to traverse multiple canyons to drag it to a road.
  13. Who's the mole? Also, I'm taking credit for the win. I had to leave after the 3rd inning to get my kids to bed, so obviously it was my reverse jinx that led to the offense waking up after that.
  14. He’s referring to having women who are giving birth intentionally get infected so that their babies are immune. He’s also drawing a parallel to Nazi experiments on pregnant women. There you go. I connected the dots for you.
  15. Yes, you're misremembering. The show laid out the moral quandary they same way as the game. Probably just with the game, you don't have any choice - you have to kill the people in order to see the ending cutscenes, so you identify more with Joel (in that you've been invested for hours of your life playing the game, you aren't going to just walk away and NOT see how it ends) and don't have the distance that watching the show provides.
  16. Would have been a much more brutal child birth if it was a true crossover. The baby just liked slipped on out during the struggle in this one.
