  1. Thanks a lot, jerk.
  2. Plus it’s too damn hot these days.
  3. My younger brother is a maintenance technician on the wind turbines up in the panhandle. He laughs at your fear of heights.
  4. Gracias. Ordered a pair.
  5. Actually only Kim. He didn’t tell Jimmy. And Kim didn’t tell Jimmy.
  6. The latter. Getting her out of the apartment was the safest choice.
  7. At this point I’m rooting for 111 just to say I lived through it and all I got was heat stroke.
  8. Wrong. They mess up my order more than anyone.
  9. I believe the technical term is “horibad”
  10. The Hyperspace Capable Space Whale was what ObiWan was working on processing out in the desert in the first episode of the season if I'm not mistaken.
  11. I had a moment (off camera) like that at the Disch with my 3 year old and our next door neighbor’s kid this season at one of the mid week games (I think the Texas State game). In the middle of an inning they were bored, so I took them to go run around while the neighbor kids dad stayed to watch the visitors bat. We were playing in the grassy area behind the food trucks down the left field line and a ball lands and rolls to them. I told them “I think that’s a foul ball” and the neighbor kid picks it up. All the sudden a bunch of other kids come running over (from the actual stands I guess) and confirm it. My 3 year old didn’t care, but the neighbor did (she was 6 so had a better grasp on how lucky it is to get a foul ball). She ran back to her dad and he was as excited as that dad in the video for her.
  12. Liens also have to be renewed every 10 years or they are invalid. So almost no chance he has any real liability.
  13. Got a call the other week from a debt collector for a family member. They asked me to have the family member call. I started asking questions, they said they couldn’t answer. Couldn’t tell me an account number, how much was owed, etc. I asked why they were calling me, since I’m not the person responsible for the debt, I didn’t co-sign, etc. They claimed the person listed me “as a reference.” After a couple of minutes I sarted asking for the debt collector’s info - the person calling’s name; company address, phone number; etc. The caller got very defensive and asked why I wanted that info. I told them “I believe this is a violation of the Fair Debt Collection Act and I’m going to be making a report to the AG.” The caller got really quiet. I asked if they were still there. They said yes and asked if I could be put on hold so they could talk to a supervisor. When they came back on, they gave me their first name only (Fernando), the address, and phone number. And then they hung up. I filled out a complaint online with the AG and don’t expect anything more to come of it, but I’m sure that “Fernando” over there is shitting bricks, so at least I have that going for me.
  14. Username checks out.
  15. I got over an inch and we are blocks away. It was about half an inch after the first round of rain around dinnertime, but this morning the gauge was over an inch.
  16. Peña’s Barber Shop?
  17. Hard to get get action shots, but damn it feels good to recreate the crocodile mile for my kids with a couple of Costco finds.
  18. Jim Spencer is trying to give us hope.
  19. Just because the scenes were cut together doesn’t mean they were happening at the exact time - for all we know the fight with Vader happened hours/days before. And when Obi Wan felt the force disturbance of Reva hunting Luke, it could have been before she was at the house wrecking shit. Also; it’s fantasy.
  20. Bill. Bill in Sinton. Not Bob. HOOK ‘EM HIGH LIKE AN EAGLE SOARS!
  21. Braker HEB? I switched HEBs once when that happened.
  22. I guess I can update for April and May now. Still haven't had an electric bill since January, as even with my consumption exceeding production for the past two months, I had enough solar credit to offset the electric bills. Not too shabby. April my net electric bill was $18.10 (which was 84% less than April 2021); but my solar credit paid for it so $0.00 on my CoA utilities bill for May electricity. May my net electric bill was $73.43 (47% less than May of 2021), but my solar credit paid for it so $0.00 on my CoA utilities bill for June for electricity. The next 3 months are going to be telling, as June/July/August were biggest bill pre-solar.
  23. I mean, Katrina was horrible, but if we start hearing stories about Quinn leading summer workouts with “If you want to beat Bama meet me here every night at 7 pm” I won’t complain about an overactive hurricane season.
