  1. You don’t even have to go back to 1968. Trevor Lawrence. Tua Tagovailoa
  2. do people not understand the difference between schools, colleges and universities? pretty sure Harvard hands out degrees about God. as does Yale. nobody is going to think of them as not being secular universities
  3. Arch might get more plays, but anyone expecting a true QB change now hasn't been paying attention.
  4. why can't we ever do shit like that in the redone
  5. consider looking at the post that I quoted your response to. or take TOEFL.
  6. Top 3 in talent, maybe. I'll give you that. Win everything and Top 3 in accomplishment, yes.
  7. Top 3. wow. so you are saying Quinn is better than Major, Simms, Brown, Layne... at least a couple of others.
  8. bullshit. you literally responded to a post about that particular throw.
  9. so why are you bringing up another throw to argue that this particular play was not a bad throw by Quinn? is it unheard of in a game for a QB to make a great throw and a bad throw? again, to speak on this particular play and to repeat the question: are you really saying placing that ball in a catchable spot is a herculean task expected of a QB you keep telling people they don't know what they are looking at when they see that gif.
  10. I sent that same gif to someone who played DB at one of our rivals, a long time ago. His son will likely be a Top prospect in the coming years. his reply: "Gotta throw it upfield with air. If he puts in on the front pylon and it’s a TD"
  11. yeah no kidding. people should look up his stats during his Heisman year.
  12. there is literally no DB in front of the WR if that pass is placed towards the end zone.
  13. Forgetting whether the WR would catch it or not, are you really saying placing that ball in a catchable spot is a herculean task expected of a QB that should play on Sundays?
  14. I don't think it's bad news. I'm not one of those who think Georgia just got lucky. They are better than us where and when it counts. But there is something to be said for having to beat them to win it all. If some other team takes them out and we win, it will be a nagging, talking point always.
  15. kinda what I mean. I keep hearing the NFL bit and that he can make every throw but that his problem is consistency, and I feel like I'm taking crazy pills, because I don't think he can make every throw. and those windows don't get bigger at the next level. the DL doesn't get shorter.
  16. his NFL career is going to be very interesting to watch.
  17. it's not 100% what Sark wants if the deep pass isn't connecting. all the way from Matt Leinart, that's been a staple of what Sark does. every game, there will be 2 or 3 moments when if a QB makes a good to great throw, it's a deep TD
  18. saying Quinn hasn't met his hype isn't some sort of slander some are making it out to be. some of you are also building up Georgia's defense to be some sort of monster that can't be dominated by a QB. that isn't true. this is not the NFL. he was the #1 QB recruit in his class. the standard for that sort of talent/hype isn't hidden. not in college. when those players who played at that level stepped on the field, the question wasn't how were they going to manage the game, it was how will the defense stop them. Quinn doesn't invite those sort of questions. I doubt any good defense watches his film and actually has any sense of fear. it is possible Arch also doesn't live up to the hype with extended viewing (we've been here before with Gilbert), but his unknowns are more promising than what we know about Quinn.
  19. all the contenders look better on offense than us.
  20. think this is quite true
  21. you could very well argue we lost because we didn't score the TD on that play.
