  1. 12 lbs isn't "just only." I didn't say Quinn won't be drafted. I said if his listed weight of 195 lbs is accurate, this is light for an NFL QB. Funny, some think that's controversial. Bryce Young just went through this, and you can find articles citing this as a concern for him and he has 10 lbs on Ewers. Tua just had a very public tiff with someone about the need for him to put on weight in the offseason.
  2. ok. I'll go through each NFL roster and see what the starting QB's weight is and get to this thread
  3. sorry, but what part of 195 lbs being light for an NFL QB do you think is not true? unless you are saying that weight that has been quoted ad nauseam is incorrect. this was a point of discussion as recently as this year's draft and QB #1
  4. also married from the 1st round, but that's a different story...
  5. Anthony Richardson would like to have a word with you
  6. He is also small for an NFL QB. Playing that way at 195 lbs in the NFL is a 100% guarantee to have a short career
  7. these teams hate each other. we know how they will play this
  8. I looked again, it was QB#4, with some teams considering him as QB#3. might have a hard time believing it but their mocks tend to be more right than what fans put up on message boards
  9. it's not about me believing he is ready, but what some of the word is out there. as recently as a few days ago, The Athletic NFL Draft dudes had him as the #3 QB off the board after Williams and Maye. in the 1st round consider that everything he has done so far. what in his history would make you think he would pass that up? also consider that he would be risking injury again if he came back another year, and truly isn't likely to better position himself in the draft if that really is his projection. an isolated clavicle injury won't scare off NFL teams. There are other injuries that would. Personally, I think once he gets put through the draft grinder, there will a lot of questions about taking him that high.
  10. nobody is smarter than a fat paycheck. It's an SEC job, in a talent rich state, at a school that is willing to pay the coaching staff, and plays the NIL game unapologetically. if you are a coach, why wouldn't you believe in yourself that you could make it work. especially a coach that believed enough in himself to go to Duke in the first place
  11. people are saying that because that's what is reported/rumored. who knows what it really is. but you can absolutely "play through" a clavicle fracture...... until you can't.
  12. he has the wrong kind of FOMO.
  13. money is not an issue at A&M. most times. sure Fisher's contract is out there, but if there are few schools that would pay that buy off and those guys are crazy enough to do it. plus he has already spent time there, so they don't have to worry about getting him through the cult initiation
  14. after what you described, people are going to think that's what TBI really stands for. but props to you for doing it. functional loss of cognitive is devastating to witness in someone you love
  15. depends. displaced vs. non displaced? nonop or operative? which side? either way, I suspect if true, unless we are playing for a playoff spot at the BigXII title game, his season would be done
  16. It's prime fanboy fantasy to start talking about Malik and "it" factor.
  17. are you telling me that Duke is now fielding a legitimate football team
  18. someone should fucking ask him why his phrase is "All Gas, No Brakes" if this is a lesson he needed to learn
  19. I don't know what to make of the guy. Right now, it seems like he needs a pass rush in a bad way to make the defense he wants to run work. But there isn't a single good, not to take of elite, pass rusher on this defense. We just occupy space at the line when teams are passing, and not often the right space...
