This is who Steve Sarkisian is.
his identity is wrapped up in it. at this point, you'd also have to wonder what aspects of his coaching might suffer if he isn't calling plays.

It would haunt me less if he straight up just said it was a bad call. The fact that he doesn't recognize that is almost as infuriating as the call itself. Hopefully, some time off helps with that reflection. Otherwise, he is a guy that needs an ex-coach permanently attached to the team as a consultant to point these things out to him

Sark needs to own those calls. If he can't find it within himself to do that, he is in for a disappointing run.
- Thank you Quinn

Baxter might in fact prove to be all that, but even when healthy, he hasn't exactly been that sort of difference maker at the position. You're expecting a lot out of him

The fact that many seem to have accepted that Arch coming in is the Arch package aka a known run, is also part of the problem with Sark's supposed creative genius. The guy wasn't a 5-star because of his legs. In fact, it only became a thing after he broke that long run, like it just dawned on Sark, and he decided to pigeon-hole him as that. And then didn't even use it appropriately. Nothing creative in the passing game with the threat of him running. Just Arch in, Arch runs.

Quinn "La Joya" Ewers - The Man The Myth The Mullet, Now Starting for the Miami Dolphins
There is a very good chance Quinn has a better year next year if he remains in college and plays at a different school. Sark didn't do him a lot of favors this year

The Quinn thing has become irrational. Yes, he fumbled on that play, the score was an insult but the sack effectively ended it. Why are some folks ignoring the things that lead to that down, the massive non-block by Cam Williams, who by the way, has a higher draft projection than Quinn, and the fact that the play design itself was shit, with really not much open.

2025 Orange Bowl - Notre Dame vs. Penn State
it's not speculation. they are trying. I think he stays after this game. the NFL will always love some measurables, no matter what. he is big, strong, and has a rifle arm. it doesn't help that the way people assess these players is to try and play an association game with a current player, and the one people just readily compare him to might win the MVP this year. the mind forgets that Allen was almost run out by commentators early in his career, and in the current league, nobody has that time to develop anymore. drafting Allar high now will get some GM fired.
