  1. …. about that trip to Mexico for a medical procedure….
  2. the look that passed between the Preacher and Game Joel right before he replied to her question.
  3. Given the amount of crazy people gravitate to now, while shit is relatively good--people forming cults, mass murdering, raping etc... is easily the most believable part about any apocalyptic tale to me.
  4. Why wasn't it covered by insurance? Why did you choose sleeve over bypass? Was a choice presented to you? If you lose enough weight, consider body contouring surgery in the future. So save for that as well. Good luck.
  5. when was this game released? must have been wild to play.
  6. The cannibalism was spotted fairly easily. We got to side the "without remorse" side of Joel, and it is quite ruthless. That little girl is tough. Anyone still having problems with Ramsey in the role? Not me.

Not sure the maneuver Whitfield is using is quite that straightforward, but maybe laws were a bit different then. Doesn't sound like your run of the mill tax lien.
  10. It's not a difference of opinion if your summation of the reasons for colorism in Black populations is "Because we're naturally prejudiced and look for reasons to discriminate, that's why." That is just ignorant and ahistorical.
  11. this wasn't offered as a tangent on Black prosperity, but a rebuttal to your characterization of the messaging from Black Americans. Now you want to shift the burden to the how's and why's of Black prosperity. You don't acknowledge that what was asked for wasn't always what you have described, and don't offer an explanation of what motivations would prompt the invasion and destruction of said communities. The truth is that that tension between "we need them" and "we would be better off on our own" has always existed. Booker T and DuBois, Malcolm and Martin etc. Even characterizing the reconcilers as people who have demanded prostration is wildly inaccurate.
  12. pertaining to this specific question, this answer is either intellectually lazy or dishonest. Can't decide which.
  13. buried in all of this, there was a 3rd Alabama player at the scene as well...
  14. also broadly mischaracterizes the ask as always being about needing appeasement or self-flagellation from White people. entirely untrue. There was a time when what was being asked for wasn't even help or affirmative action, it was simply to be left alone, to have the chance to succeed or fail, independent of malignant outside forces. And even that wasn't granted. Entire successful, self-sustaining Black-American communities, were destroyed merely for existing.
  15. "Your Honor, I did not know what the gentleman intended to do, when he asked me to bring his weapon."
  16. Do people really think the decision was made without considering the strong possibility that the charges would be dropped? In that same vein, if you thought he should be fired before, why would this change your mind?
  17. I wouldn't say it's unpredictable, but it's all very well done. The monsters live in service of the human story and the show is better for it.
  18. was always obvious he is undersized for the position at the next level, if you are strictly looking at him as a LB.
  19. Sounds a lot like what Marvel does. 2025 is right around the corner. Who is playing Superman? Kinda have to announce that pretty soon.
