  1. Devil's Bridge was awesome I about shit my pants walking out on the arch though.
  2. And some of the guys training on them might have used them the first time.
  3. And when you show this to right wing dimwits, they say one of two things: Oh, this is just a fringe thing. It's a very small percentage of people who feel that way. But Democrats want to let immigrants vote. They always have an excuse for ignoring the fuckery.
  4. Harris should set up a series of rallies in Philly or Pittsburgh at 2-3 venues. Places that seat 15,000+. Plan it so that she moves from one place to another and has three distinct "parties" like she did last night but all in one day and in a 4-5 hour window. Imagine the way that would look if 40k or 50k or 100k showed out for that. I think the enthusiasm is there for it The logistics are a bit hard to pull off but do it. Think about if she'd been at Minute Maid for a speech at 4:00, moved to Shell at 5:30 and then Minute Maid to close it out. Have the Big Screens on so everyone at each location can watch party with the other locations. Give three distinct speeched covering 3 specific items (say, the economy, foreign policy and a GOTV one.) That would rock. But with 9+ days left, it might not matter.
  5. Butt Sluts 4 didn't have enough butts.
  6. Their speed, along with their crews giant cojones made the difference. Their ability to charge the Japanese at flank speed changed the battle.
  7. Plus, they sweat vodka. So Brisket might be intrigued after all.
  8. Oh, you know something in this picture piques your interest...
  9. Last Stand of the Tin Can Saillors may be the best WWII books I've ever read. I knew from reading other books prior that Halsey had fucked up but Hornfischer brought Taffy 3's role (and sacrifice) to the forefront. It is always a book I recommend for others to read if they are interested in military history. For some reason it has really has always stuck with me on how this battle was named. It's not the Battle of Samar. It's the Battle off Samar. It just highlights that this was different.
  10. I had not spoken to him in over 10 years. He was a real POS in life. I don't wish the suffering my sister is going through on anyone but...
  11. Not really taking glee in this but there's one less MAGAt in the world today. My brother-in-law died this morning (probably a heart attack.) My sister is obviously very distraught but something she said to me today... "He was looking forward to voting next week." Well, not now.
  12. A Dairy Queen that has been open since the early 2000s closing isn't exactly the traveshamockery that you think.
  13. In ' 81, I convinced one of my dumbass cousins to try an incredibly stupid (and dangerous) jump on his bike by promisong I'd give him my "Fernando" baseball card. He tried the jump and fucked up the landing big time. I can still remember the look in his eyes when he hit the ramp and realized that he had made a terrible decision. When he landed, his bike just disintegrated into about 8 pieces. Wheels came off the forks. The frame broke in 3 places. The handle bars came off the front fork. I have no idea how he didnt seriously hurt himself. He hobbled away from his destroyed bike and into my house where I gave him a Fernando ARROYO card. He was not amused. But this was also the cousin that a friend and I convinced to pee on an electric fence later that day. And that was the 2nd time we had talked him into doing that. He had peed on the fence a few days before.
  14. Squatting is worse, friendo.
  15. She shouldn't have married a rapist then.
  16. Showed up at the Kingwood location around 6:50 this evening. Walked right it and was back in my car by 7:00. The actual act of voting took longer than the walk in or out.
  17. That's why Nicole rides her bike without her cellphone on her to Rainey Street.
  18. For the election or the 🍺 and 🌮?
