  1. You're not wrong, but the non-propagandist media networks basically have nothing to run in opposition because the "voice" of the Democrat party is an annoying, dry, crusty ass old liberal that has nothing to say but repeat old liberal talking points that nobody gives a fuck about and clearly demonstrated his complete lack of spine when the spending bill was on the table, so he has no fucking credibility either. AOC and Bernie, and to a lesser extent Buttigieg, currently have a broader appeal among voters than pretty much any other US politician you can name (in either party) but the Democrat party is so stuck in its ways of being nothing more than controlled opposition that basically does nothing but pay lip service to ideas that their potential voter base actually care about, that they will continue to be sidelined so Chuck Schumer can go on TV and whine about Trump and then vote in lockstep with him for "decorum" or whatever the fuck.
  2. I feel like I've repeated this a gazillion times, but they don't need a propaganda network, they need messages that resonate with voters. AOC and Bernie, and Buttigieg to an extent, are literally the only ones going out there and actually saying words people want to hear. The rest of them, it feels sometimes like they are all just acting like clones of Chuck Schumer and no one gives a fuck/it's just annoying.
  3. Who knows. It's literally a tabloid, but they have broken accurate news before.
  4. It's not when you remember that a couple decades ago Trump was a New York lib that loved theatre. He's always been zesty. Ain't no straight man wearing that much face bronzer.
  5. What exactly do you find amusing about all of this?
  6. The first reply is great. What a legendarily bad poster. RIP maninblack don't ever come back dipshit
  7. I feel like I'm taking crazy pills. Like, I cannot fucking stand Tulsi, but the revisionist history comparing her to some random DNC chair you've never heard of is insane. She was the first woman combat veteran to run for President and was initially seen/presented herself as a progressive, anti-war, populist candidate. She got the most online engagement of any candidate in the debates she participated in. She was even presenting herself as anti-cop by going after Kamala Harris' record as a prosecutor (which, truth be told, is probably the most commendable thing she ever did). Obviously her carefully crafted image turned out to be bullshit. She's nothing more than a political opportunist, and she's a weird cult member who is likely some level of Russian asset, but she had a fair amount of momentum in the very beginning before the greater Democrat apparatus quickly turned against her after Hillary Clinton started shitting on her, and even then a bunch of prominent Democrats were defending her all over mainstream news. She was also getting glazed up a bunch by Joe Rogan which only helped her popularity.
  8. Yeah fair enough
  9. This is just cope and demonstrably untrue. She was fairly popular among Democrats until the Assad/Russia shit came up during the 2020 presidential campaigns and Hillary started going after her hard. Even after that she was pretty heavily defended by mainstream media and a lot of mainstream Democrats. Shit started going downhill for her and it culminated in her not being invited to the 2020 DNC which I'm sure is what started her off on the path to leaving the party.
  10. I just like to differentiate between what's considered "liberal" in America vs. what an actual leftist is. Liberals in American can be as right wing as conservatives about many things.
  11. A friend here works for AMTRAK as a union worker, makes well into the 6 figures and hates unions. Exhausted myself trying to explain that unions are the only reason he can afford the $90k truck he drives as what amounts to semi-skilled labor.
  12. Here not so much but she was quite popular among Dems for a time, especially circa 2020 when she was mostly falling in line.
  13. I hate every fucking dumbass liberal that tried to hype her up over the years with a fiery passion
  14. I would do a victory lap around all the dipshits on this board that constantly shed crocodile tears about fake ass, bullshit "antisemitism" in the Israel thread, but the reality is this sucks for everyone so it's a pyrrhic vindication at best.
  15. Respects to imma, but pay for a VPN service. They're not expensive and it's well worth it for multiple reasons, porn notwithstanding. I use Surfshark at home, I think I paid around $50-60 for 2 years of service up front.
  16. Yeah they're called co-ops and they're relatively rare compared to the standard company structure in this country.
  17. Lulz!! Wait, I'm not slorch...
  18. OTOH unions are the only reason workers have any rights at all in this country to begin with so man what a catch 22
  19. Because he's a brain broken weirdo dumbshit
  20. Amateurism is a fucking joke of a concept and only existed so larger entities could take advantage of athletes who mostly didn't know they were getting exploited to make money for other people.
  21. Some more articles: https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/2025/05/12/political-commentator-hasan-piker-chicago-airport/83588720007/ https://www.washingtonpost.com/immigration/2025/05/12/hasan-piker-detained-border-agents-twitch/ https://www.newsweek.com/hasan-piker-cbp-border-detention-questioning-chicago-watch-2071261 https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/hasan-piker-twitch-streamer-questioned-us-customs-rcna206406
  22. https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025/may/12/hasan-piker-border-trump-gaza This is a lot more sinister than it seems at first glance. This guy is probably the largest online progressive political pundit, is a US citizen, and CBP had no reason to do this (other than the one we all know). He was pulled in for "further questioning" alongside quite a few others and he was the only citizen that was detained. Questioned extensively about what he thought of Trump and Israel. Also some of you should pay attention to how the interrogator was behaving and realize that it closely resembles your past behavior in the Israel thread.
